i think povetkin is WAY past his best now...he's 41 and he's never been quite the same after wladimir subjugated him...even so, still an interesting fight!!
Way past best agreed but his mobility and accuracy gave AJ problems for a good while in their fight. Only thing he lacks to make him a threat is the nullifying power some of the big chaps have now. That said, Dillian doesn't have that either. Going on the wars with del and Parker, this could be a very tasty tear up as White seems to be drawn into this kind of fight.

In my humble both guys have got good power, particularly in the left hook.... I could see this as an early finish either way depending who times that left hook first...

I dont disagree, they both have decent, above average power, just not the one punch lights out that AJ or Wilder seem to. Both are compact (in style, not physicality) fighters, happy in the pocket. I, too, can see a stoppage here, Povetkin may yet surprise, he is perhaps a cleaner finisher that Dillian even at his advanced years. If he gets a fighter on the hook he swarms in an educated manner and doesn't waste punches. I'm looking forward to this. Fair play to Dillian, he isn't marking time with easy marks.

He must have an addiction/confidence issue. He must have lost about $10 million because of all this

God its quiet in here!

didn't realise Scott Harrison was making a comeback at 43 despite being refused a license by BBBoC
Dont see this going very well for him, so much harder to be competitive at the lower weight divisions where speed and movement is prevalent.

Reckons he will be a world champion again...dont know what weight he fought at, but his last proper fight was lightweight. anyone think he'd make it past 3 rounds with Loma?

what a shame, potentially. He was an absolute monster at his weight in his prime.

Roy jones will be on his toes to avoid Tyson.
But depending on how serious they take it Tyson needs to catch him within the first 4 rounds or he will be relying on one big punch near the end.

My moneys on Tyson

Tyson comeback is just silly at 50. Let's look forward to some proper action. I don't fancy DW for his fight.

Will be interesting to see how long the top flight fighters hold out for fights in front of proper crowds. Could be well into next year before that happens?

it's set for 8 rounds apparently. headguards and 14oz gloves... but crucially the referee has the power to stop it if it threatens to break out into an actual fight... strictly exhibition apparently, that's why licenses have been granted...

I read 12oz and no headguards but again its a proper exhibition, like the skills bouts young amateurs do. It wont be like floyd and his walk in, knock the poor guy out in 30 seconds exhibition.

Its a glorified photo opportunity, and im actually glad of it

Joe Joyce reminds me of a comeback (1988-1997) George Foreman. Slow, methodical, lazy but brutally effective punches. Foreman was a character though. Joyce has the personality of a tin of beans.
