Will be equally interesting to see what happens to all the sky sports boxing people - Adam smith, Nelson, froch, Macklin, bellow etc etc. They won’t all get jobs at DAZN
Let's hope Anna Woodhouse stays on TV, preferably in Boxing, to be fair she deserves to big on the big nights though, she'd be over dressed to do some MTK promotion from Lemington Spa leisure centre. ThisInJapanese said:
Dubois made his comeback tonight, looked ok, but still don't know a huge amount about him (other than he's got a decent amount of power). Would like to see him stack up more victories against mid range fighters rather than being rushed into the bigger fights as Frank Warren is suggesting he will do.
There was a warren interview in papers the other day, strange to find out he and Eddie Hearn have never met in person. How strange.Perhaps he feels he got Dubois all wrong, and it's a case of cash in and let Daniel retire early?

Just watched the Lennox Lewis documentary on Sky Documentary Channel. It has some holes in it but crikey I must admit, I have not been kind to him over the years. Never my kind of fighter but watching back some of his performances on YouTube, he was really something wasn't he? Unusual for an ex champ to appear so relaxed and content too, good watch, and what a fighter!
Given mayweather is already teasing and hyping the Jake paul sequel, I was wondering if logan might have met MW and rehearsed a round or two, ahead of time WWF style? If I were MW and 100m franchise on the line, it’s something I might consider, given how bad the KSI fight looked, aesthetically.

Wouldn't surprise me, it's an exhibition after all. Anyone expecting something resembling how it'd go if Mayweather didn't fk about it going to be very disappointed. Pugaris said:

I made $350m for Mcgregor, was only 28 minutes of work.
I have already made $30m from the Logan fight, and after the fight I will end with between $50-100m.

Felt exactly the same. Lee Jones Jnr said:
The event against the tiny kickboxer in Japan was an exhibition.
And McGregor was a pro bout and he took it easy and made a show of it then.I think what happened with Tensin is that he started to sit on his punches and Mayweather just went "well if you're not going to treat it as an exhibition, neither will I" and finished him off. Floyd was making a show of it until Tensin started trying to punch with intent.
I don't think the same will happen with Paul because a) Tensin is the best kickboxer in the world and could actually land the odd punch. Paul won't get anywhere near landing on Floyd unless Floyd lets him and b) finishing that Tensin fight early made little difference to Mayweather's future earnings (he got the Paul fight, after all). Ending a Logan early means a lot less interest in Mayweather vs Jake, which I think is what Money wants because it'll make him $100m or more.

Slightly different vibe this time.https://twitter.com/Usernumber55/status/1401799018...
Lets face it, nobody should be surprised that an exhibition bout wasn't competitive. That is the entire point of exhibitions, a show.
Floyd did exactly what he needed to, he gave the public some entertainment. Paul got to say he boxed Floyd Mayweather and Floyd showed clearly which one of them would have won had it been competitive. Pulling shots and giving your opponent time to recover if they do take a shot wrong is just part of it. Done it enough times back in the day in sparring when coaching, you don't throw with any malice and sometimes your inexperienced opponent walks themselves into a shot and winds themselves.
Floyd showed the true professional he can be, noticing when his partner was hurt and needed a bit of time.
As somebody else suggested, Tenshin was out to make a name from himself outside Japan and probably went for it properly.

The crowd booed at the end, which is a most unusual way of showing that they were entertained.
Normally they cheer and clap and stuff
they set themselves up for that booing, hat gate, 10oz gloves, I'm gonna knock him out etc etcNormally they cheer and clap and stuff
they sold a proper fight but gave the public the exhibition that was agreed.
hopefully this has soured the public on more of these
