Did you read Hearns comments yesterday? He is being played. The other side are all talking to one another.

He made an offer to one, had a meeting with another an hour later, and was told about the offer made hehe

What a mess, AJ had 50 million minimum guaranteed with all the A side power in the negotiations, but the winner of a Fury- Wilder rematch will come to the table as an equal.

They will probably use this example in University Courses one day.

University? It's not even CSE level

I think they were expecting Fury v Wilder to either flop or be a borefest, and they could make the loser of the fight a rubbish offer. The last thing they were expecting was Fury to make a comeback...have you seen the latest pics? He looks incredible, nowhere near how he looked about two years ago.

Also reckon Hearn thought Khan V Brook was a done deal but Khans bagged himself a bigger fight.

Hearn should bite the bullet and offer Fury 50/50 to get the fight.

Firstly, it makes both fighters a ton of money. Career high pay days for both fighters.

Secondly, it locks out Wilder from that top tier of fight. Which is good for DAZN and bad for Showtime.

Thirdly, if the Fury/Wilder rematch happens, Wilder will likely have a rematch clause. So letting that play out could easily see them tangled up together for the next 12 months which would be damaging to the already flagging momentum behind Joshua's career.

Whereas, if Joshua gets Fury next, he inserts himself back into pole position. And if Joshua can beat Fury in good style, he won't need to give Wilder anything close to 50/50.

Well....looks like it's Joshua versus Miller in June... 1st or 8th.....very underwhelming fight for me... I'd rather see him fight pulev but the purpose of this Miller fight is apparently exposure on the other side of the pond...

Hearn blew it big time...although once this fight is out of the way people will quickly forget I suppose

In NY, might go to that, really hoping Fury and Wilder pick there over Vegas too otherwise it's going to be a fking expensive weekend.

Yeah I'd be up for Maddison Square even if it is a st fight. Hopefully Fury Wilder announce a date and venue soon, too. If they're in Vegas I'll go to both fights but if they're at the Barclay in NY which Wilder said is a possibility I'll probably just go to that one. Don't really care where they fight, I'm not missing that rematch

So....Mikey Garcia.

I'm worried he is going to get hurt in his March fight. Ive seen his training vids, and strength and training increases, but still can't see him having a chance.

Great fight. Spence is a big welterweight (as Kell Brook found).

I'm afraid my view is pretty much the same as everyone else e.g. Mikey, very good fighter, trying to be great. But he isn't a welterweight, and whilst he is technically good, Spence will break him down in the later rounds. Best case for Mikey will be getting through all 12 rounds.

If Joshua does go for the NYC option, I think actually it could be a great live event.

Hearn needs Joshua's debut to be a stunning success. So he is likely to go for a big undercard.

And Hearn was speaking on IFL about his idea for a "UK vs USA" theme for the evening. I think that could work very well as a live event and create a great atmosphere (even though for the main event Joshua will walk though 'Big Baby').

Anyone see Froch’s reaction to Groves retirement rotate
Yeah he really needs to grow up and get a grip to be honest, he won their fights and should probably let the rivalry die off from there, they don’t have to be best mates but he can manage some professional courtesy to Groves who’s had a tough career and enhanced froch’s Own reputation and bank balance via those two fights.

Andre Ward saw it on twitter though and set him straight.

Loved Froch as a fighter but he still seems very bitter over Ward, Groves and Calzaghe.

He’s an awful commentator too, he adds nothing to an event he is covering and it’s obvious he doesn’t know who half the fighters are and makes him look amateurish as you’d think he’d do a bit of background on them before a show.
Mallinaggi completely shows him up from a technical standpoint and a knowledge level too. I do love boxers who are clearly fans and students of the sport themselves though.
Froch tarnishes his reputation every time he talks on his rivals. Not much respect or humility there. Great fighter and think his commentary is ok, not great.

This is a great watch - Fury is quite an endearing chap when he's not in clown mode.
