Poor Jimmy, loads of bowling yesterday and back at it again today now! Bet he isn't happy at all!

Doubt any of them are particularly happy.

Jimmy should fancy this.

Nothing to lose, a rough deck, new type of ball that stays hard and hoops.

Ah, this takes me back.

Memories of utter despondency in the Caribbean. Who knew it would return so quickly?

and Windies do indeed have pace - 90mph at the mo

Evening session could be interesting!!
When I said it could be interesting I really thought I’d be talking about Windies pace attack against our middle order.

Not Mo against the WI top order - bizarre

The wider issue for me is for the game of Test cricket

Start the game on Wednesday, with a ball designed to create results.

Most of the crowd are English on tour, very few locals as they are at work.

Maybe they’ll turn up on Saturday - will the game be done by then?

Well that was pretty abject

Chasing 300+ in the fourth is 1 -1000 territory.

Shambles from the middle order. But then when they have dug us out so many times before then something like this is always a possibility.

Indeed, like a blast from the past.

We do seem a little under prepared in this series.

It's like we took apart SL so easily albeit with the same top order problems, it is almost like they thought they could just rock up to the Caribbean against on paper, a poor WI test team and the top order would finally reveal themselves as world class batsmen. And that is before we even explore executive management decision to play two spinners on a classically hard, seaming pitch!

England's new look aggressive approach to batting worked well, not!

There's a time and place for things like that. Flat track and England use two spinners ffs and bat like a school team.

Mind you, after shed loads of oh my gods, Jennings comes out top scorer. Who would have thought it.

Yeah it is, although normally you'd be doing that in the last 4 sessions on a worn pitch against spinners.

If we can clear out the tail before lunch today and keep the required runs below 400 I reckon we have half a chance on a third/fourth day pitch.

Can we bat as poorly again? Can WI bowl as well again?

Unlikely but history is very much on the side of the WI.

Windies digging in this morning. Looks like we may have to chase a world record score.

We're gonna need Jennings to dig in and grind out a double tonne over the next two days, just like Chef could do...

From what I've read, the pitch in Antigua is expected to be slow and much more suited to spin.

Whats to bet that England simply react to this matches poor selection and bring Broad back in, drop Rashid and rely on Root as the second spin option.
