Few years ago, I was playing 3 times a week, got my handicap down to 6 and was enjoying life. Had my Taylormade blades for quite a while so bought a complete new set online....delivery in 2 weeks. Three days later, I ripped a disc and was in the most pain I have ever had. CT scan and an MRI confirmed a burst disc. Operation or 3 months flat on my back, was advised to not have the op. Second week in bed....bing bong. delivery...........yep. My new clubs! That was 9 years ago and since then I have played 4 times and in agony for a week after everytime.
I can relate to that, as that closely echoes the end to my own golfing days due to a similar injury back in the mid 90's after having played on a regular basis for 20 odd years since age 11.

What a magnificent golf course. Fine if you play it from fairways and hit greens, a monster if you miss them.

Thought I'd cracked it last weekend......... medal round, got round to the 12th tee in level par, and got 3 more pars in the rest of the round. Just a shame that for the other 4 holes I threw in 3 doubles and a quad!!

Sh*t-f*ck-cr*p-w*nk-b*ll*cks!!!

David Duval's gonna need to play well on his last 4 holes if he wants to make the cut.

Looking wet and windy for Sunday afternoon, not nice conditions. Could be a surprise winner. Don't envy them, whoever wins will definitely deserve it.

That certainly was a round of golf. Shame Westwood let a few slip.

Yes, would love to have seen Lee win it, but can’t see anyone catching Lowry other than maybe Fleetwood if Lowry throws in a couple of bad holes.

63. 30 on the back 9. Course record. 4 shot lead. Amazing round of golf.

I doubt Lowry could have played a better round in his life, what a staggering back 9, almost put the field to bed.

And he was cool, relaxed and enjoying it.

Quite hat the weather throws tomorrow I don't know.

Only sad aspect are the cretinous retards shouting crap out all the time, if it was me, every single one would be ejected, it nearly put him off on that last putt, do not understand these morons, almost like they feel we are going to know who they are, don't know what possesses anyone to shout out at a golf match anywhere other than perhaps the ryder Cup.

Make hay whilst the sun shines. This could well pay dividends tomorrow for the leader, what a fantastic round.

He's got a lot of time thinking about it till the tee off. As long as he just sticks it down the fairway on the first to get rid of the expectation shackles, then he has a good chance.

Weather makes it look like grinders will win the day.

Another competitive round by Brooks Koepka also.

I wouldn't be surprised if he wins this tomorrow.

Weather forecast for tomorrow afternoon looks tragic.

Could be almost unplayable.

Anything could happen yet. Rory threw away seven shots in two holes.

And Duval had a 14 on a par 4.

On this course and with THAT weather forecast the fat lady's gotta sing before we call a winner.

Please make it be Lowry !

This is what happens if you play on the North Coast...

Tommy is refusing to step up a challenge. Could have been a four shot swing if he had taken advantage.
