If Stokes performs as he can, we might just stand a chance. It’s nice to see the English batsmen have calmed down.

Not sure why Skipper played that shot. I know they weren’t scoring much but they are not exactly short on time.
Poor shot selection in my book.

It’s a miracle, he left a squiffy delivery laugh

Why couldn’t they do that the other day? They’re actually picking deliveries out.

Too many 50 over games and an unacountable act to adapt, imo.
Seems they have at last cottoned on though.

Honestly if we'd have gotten another 40 or 50 in the first innings we'd have a really good chance of winning this.

Looks like Bairstowe & probably Butler when his time arrives have been given licence to get things moving while Stokes drops anchor until the bunnies come out

That's daft really. Need to be patient. We do not have the pressure of time. Just pick the balls, we don't need to be Billy big hitters.

They do still need to keep their eye in or they will get out, despite the sloppy bowling and sloppy fielding this morning.

Long may it continue. The Australian slip cordon is way off the mark today as well.

Which is fine for the bad balls, but going after the good ones is futile.

Lyon is getting the ball to bounce and spin. Need to be careful.

No idea why you've posted this. We look rubbish and will be gone by tea.

Early start in the morning so not hanging around for too much more.

Your guys have got it under control and will win unless we can nibble out a couple of quick wickets straight after lunch

Then we wouldn’t have so much time left to get all the runs. hehe

Good effort this morning. Perhaps they've been told they can only have the day off tomorrow if they win; there are a few keen golfers in our line-up ;>

I hope it doesn't go to the wire. The thought of Broad in the middle with thirty still needed isn't comforting.

The word bugger escaped my lips when Root got out. But I'm currently stoked by Stokes performance.

Bairstow putting the runs on, but listening to TMS and not seeing it live when they say " flashes at a ball " I get the heeby jeebys until they have reported not out.

I want this win so bad, forget the record or the series, just please the crowd who are having a fantastic Sunday so far. If we come short fair be it, but give the crowd hours of hope and me too.

In regards to Australia their bowling line up still fantastic this match so far. Well done Nathan getting above Lillee.

NM Lyon (AUS) 2011-2019 89* 170 22721 11449 356 8/50 13/154 32.16 3.02 63.8 15 2
DK Lillee (AUS) 1971-1984 70 132 18467 8493 355 7/83 11/123 23.92 2.75 52.0 23 7

Excellent work cobber beer

However Simon Mann said with this good weather he hoped the UK is enjoying their BBQ on Sunday. I think he might be a 5th agent, the UK should be enjoying a Sunday lunch with British beef and Yorkshire puddings on a Sunday, not a BBQ... grrrr

Stokes run rate gone from 4 to 27. I hope that run rate does not got too far upwards. Bairstows needs to come down from 50s to 30's .. to the end and the win.
