No more than Ambrose, Holding, Lillee, Mitchell Johnson (when he was bowling straight), Starc, Tait, Malcolm, Willis etc...

Surely they have fast bowlers on the South African league scene?

Very true, but it’s been a while since we had someone this quick bowling for us.

The two lads who've been hit have literally moved into the ball. Like they have never played short stuff before.

His initial move forward didn’t help... after that the ball was just too quick for him to get out of the way of. Wasn’t that short either.

Doubt he’ll be getting on the front foot too quickly now laugh

They probably haven’t faced much 90+ mph short stuff. Smith widely regarded as the best in the business, so it’s about Archer putting the ball into an area which is very hard to deal with.

you'd think they'd have been practising for it. Not a suprise he is playing.

No tall Joel Garner? He had speed and angle due to his height, a fearsome combination.

Think Patrick Patterson is the acknowledged winning of The Who bowls the meanest bouncer.

Clive Lloyd always reckoned he was just a ‘nasty ’ with the ball in hand.

The crims can't lose from here, plain sailing. Will save the match easily.

Yup definitely won’t be any more wickets this evening.
