Perfect timing...honestly reckon if you had half an hour left of play and Aussies 9 for in these conditions you’d ease back and not want to have an awkward 20 min bat tonight.

Was just thinking the same. 350 would be nice for the series.

What a spiffing day of cricket biggrin

Archer has the Aussies rattled I reckon - the look on some of their faces when he got them out.

With the speed that ball picked up off the surface though, I'm not surprised.

Let's hope his fitness is rock solid - certainly looks fine.

Just watching the highlights, how they weren't 6 down after those first 14 overs, I don't know. How many times did Warner play and miss?

Not sure, nothing in the 90’s today. Root has to be careful. I remember Gooch flogging Fraser like a dead horse in the West Indies. He needs to be handled with care if he isn’t going to go the way of so many other talents with injury.

Resident Crims a bit quiet scratchchin

Don't be shy chaps, never judge a score until both sides have had a dig.

Went to bed at the first rain interruption and saw a score this morning that was a bit less than optimal, but as noted only one side has batted so far.

Looking at the highlights I guess Labuschagne should be pleased it was only trundler Stokes that got him out wink

Weakest Aborigines team I can remember tbh.
Totally a one trick pony as far as batting is concerned.

Sure I heard on the radio last night that he played & missed 11 of his first 25 balls. That's a high % but having watched it at the time, I'm still surrpised it wasn't higher. hehe

Issue is our batting has been just as pathetic as Aussies this series. Both teams have good bowlers but shocking batting.

Hopefully the sunshine today makes it easier to bat on, but you cant put a collapse past us.

This, we need to get a good total then we can stick to the Aussies about how crap they are (and not before). Remember how awful 258 at Lord's was supposed to be? Australia do have a good pace attack, we're going to have to get a good total. We probably won't get a good score in the 4th innings.

Did they actually play Leach at all yesterday, or is the pitch not conducive to spin?
