Breaking news, English powers have stolen Welsh resources, flooded Welsh villages and tried to kill the Welsh language.

So just like the South African rugby team were a symbol of cultural change in 1995, and that the captaincy of Kolisi is symbolic of the change since, rugby may be just a game, but its impact and it's cultural relevance are far, far wider.

Unless you're English, and then culture goes as far as singing an American Gospel song.
Breaking news the Welsh and co are just pissed because England did it to them rather than them doing it to England - the Welsh & Scots were more than happy marching across foreign land and subjugating others. Or is that different?

Cheslin Kolbe is pretty useful. Who said SA were just big lumps in the forwards?

I really don’t get the big deal about the medals. They are ultra competitive sport men who just had there chance and lost. They will probably not get another chance to win the World Cup.

I would be pretty pissed off and dejected too. Second place medals don’t mean anything in rugby just friendly reminder of that time you cane close but not close enough.
I'd disagree with you on both counts. Most of the team will still be around to get another crack in 4 years.

WRT the silver medals I do wonder if the being pissed off bit is not the fact that they came 2nd (someone has to) but the fact that they know they could have played better - they weren't even at the races. How much of that is that SA didn't let us play vs our not turning up is the question

So once again it seems England bashing is fashionable. In all the hoohaa about the medals one would think it's never happened before....
