Having had to give up judo due to finger problems, I'm keen to get back on the mat, but without having my fingers constantly twisted in canvas kimonos.

I appreciate that schools are businesses that need to make money, but monthly subscriptions for a veteran age bloke to go 1-2 times a week (and may have a short lived "career" anyway, depending upon injury) are going to work out a bit expensive per session.

Are there any good classes around Manchester/Salford/Trafford that are pay as you go?

I have looked at a few. Not seen any PAYG. Looked at a place I like the look of but it's a set fee for 3x a week, I can't commit to that.

I can understand people running a business having membership fees, but I'm similar.
