Can anyone recommend me a trolley? Just getting back in to golf and don’t know what’s half decent.

The below any good?

Motocaddy Cube, it’s truly excellent, very light to push and folds up very small in one action.

Ho.. Lee... st!!!

Played golf for the first time in about 4 months, fk me it’s so hard! I’m used to scoring low 80s and struggled with every aspect of the game. 2 back to back pars mentally saved the day but Jesus.... I had totally forgotten the skill involved.

Ive got the icart compact. Seems to do what you'd expect from a trolley. Good folding mechanism, sturdy feel to it, nice smooth roll.

However, saying all of that I've only used it twice. Realised that I much prefer to carry.

I bought a 'Wishbone One' trolley as was originally going for the 'Cube' but global stocks issues seems to mean there were none available for weeks/months.

It's very good, albeit not used it recently as is a bit of a pain when the greens are roped off, so just carrying.

FFS, they're closed again

May have to take my exercise walking around the local(ish) public golf course again.

Totally nonsensical

Utterly shambolic.

Some good news however if you’re north of the border...

I have the Druids one and it does what you’d hope and is great VFM. The front wheel can be a bit finicky but can be adjusted, I’m still playing around with it a bit though.

It's hard to argue in favour of a ban on golf as a low-risk form of exercise but some might say it's not so much about us players as it is about the course staff who would have to make their way to the club.

They have to do that anyway to keep it in good condition....

Ours have just announced that as they've had to close they're getting more people in to do course works (irrigation/tree management/bunkers) so every cloud and all that....

Anyone here use some of the more affordable launch monitors?

I didn't realise there were options in the hundreds of pounds i.e. Swing Caddie.

Have also ordered a druids trolley. Seem to have bother with my hip and a knee tendon after walking in course for a while so need to stop carrying the clubs.

Ive got a swing caddie SC300. It's good on the driving range but questionable unless you got a sturdy net if useful for a net.

Cheers. It'd only be a driving range/practice ground I'd be using one.

If a clubs are furloughing green staff do you think the club should be clear balance sheet wise?

Who makes the decision at a members club if we furlough?

Members are paying the same monthly subs for less green keepers?

I have the Evo compact and recommend it. Folds up to a very small size for the car and holds your bag securely and rolls really smoothly. Didn't cost me that much though, think it was about £110 in early 2019.
