Match building nicely!
New ball imminent, but still predicting 300-5 at stumps at worst.
Crawley 100?
I don't think we'll get to 270, let alone 300.New ball imminent, but still predicting 300-5 at stumps at worst.
Crawley 100?
Looking forward to the 5th day!

Collapse time by the sound of our playing! No change by our batsman!
Lucky escape!
I was going to say, you're wrong, until Buttler played all around that delivery!Lucky escape!
Maybe the Windies now smell blood? 45 mins left to send a few more back to the shed and all day tomorrow to score 200ish for the win?

Good but not spectacular bowling and we collapse with slightest hint of pressure. They'll not need to get 200 tomorrow.
Sadly, you're correct. I was expecting a better start on home turf but England are again found wanting. Maybe the decision to bat first was too bold given the conditions, which were forecast, and now we are down to a bowling attack, that haven't performed in the first innings, to skittle the Windies for under 200, more likely less. However, the Burnley Lara is yet to bat ...

Hope you didn’t put any money on it ! England batted very poorly as a team...lost wickets in pairs (Stokes/Crawley and Bess/Pope) which is a cardinal sin. Denly looked like he was batting for his England place....at his age he might struggle to get back in the side as I suspect Root will come back in at 4 and Crawley will move up to 3. Shame as he’s got a lot of starts but never made a century which he’s deserved. New ball imminent, but still predicting 300-5 at stumps at worst.

Bookies have England and Windies neck and neck.

I don't bet money on anything, least of all England's cricket performance!!
Interesting that the bookies still have it as a draw, they must be banking on Jimmy batting England into a safe place by lunchtime tomorrow! Can Wood and Archer support him?
Well the selfish other England batsman have used up all the time in this match making 20 off 150 balls.
Not enough time for Jimmy A to fully showcase his talents, but that expert nick to fine leg shot is really paying off today.
Quick 50 Jimmy and then again you will need to sacrifice yourself for the team.

Ah and as I typed that, Jimmy has been deserted by his -batting partner, agonizingly, only 96 close runs more needed for his maiden century,
The wait goes on...
Indeed, and he was looking comfortable at the crease with a lovely fine leg glance to get off the mark!! Was today the day for his maiden ton ... sadly we are left wondering? The wait goes on...
Good start with the ball and he's got it swinging and Jof looks dangerous too! Can they possibly get a couple of cheap wickets before lunch??
