We didn't put quite enough on the board

Stokes dropped a regulation chance. Can't win when we miss chances like that.

Not quite at it today.

Good to see Roy and YJB find form.
The test series started in a similar style as well rofl
Indeed, let’s hope it doesn’t all go downhill from here.
Looking ominous. Tbf whoever wins the toss at this pitch will more than likely win

Yeah the bowling in the last 5 overs or so was very good. Think we should have had 180-200 but kudos to their bowlers today

They were better at batting, more aggressive the lad on debut was amazing, our guys were waiting a little bit for something to happen,

You had to expect a reaction from the last game really.

The rest of the 20/20's will be behind closed doors

I love the all or nothing approach to spectator numbers in Ahmedabad. You’d assume no crowd would favour the tourists but it’ll be sad to see the grounds empty again.

England weren’t thrashed but were soundly beaten, they didn’t pile enough runs on at the end and India didn’t need to worry about scoreboard pressure with their response.

No West Indies thread so I'll leave Pollard here looking to get a ball in space x6 https://youtu.be/bLSaBYDj6h4

Third T20 just got underway. England will be chasing this time, which they seem to prefer.

He was too cool for school there. Felt sorry for the bowler, that pissed on his parade.

England are going to have to bat well (and quickly) here.

Do they though. We batted a bit st the other day and made 165. This is 157 and already below 8 an over.

Not sure its high pressure. I mean we have hit 400+ before.

Nice up from Kohli, but we are already 40/1 after 5 overs. Right on track

Virat - 77 from 46 balls S/R 167.39

Buttler (currently) 39 from 16 S/R 243.75

Who would be a bowler ?

Absolutely. I guess the thing about Kohli’s knock was context and how he read what was needed. Buttler is going beautifully and puts us in a position to win comfortably. Shouldn’t have said that.....

It seems that way at the moment. I think they said there was a 65% chance of the chasing side winning any given match, based on recent T20 results.

It has, I think the win loss ratio for those who win the toss and bat last is 65%-35% in T20.
