I was staying in a hotel in Mexico City last week where I presume ER was also staying as I saw her at the pool.
I never recognise famous people (or even my wife in a crowd for that matter) but I did on this occasion (after a while) as she had bandages on her worst and ankle and I thought that unusual.
She was in the company of two young men, one of them I believe was her boyfriend, but both of them were the sort of loud, over confident, entitled, and brash characters you really don’t want to be sharing a pool with. She, to be fair, was well behaved.
The point being, from my brief observation, is that she has poor taste in friends and therefore perhaps poor judgement when choosing other relationships.

If you want to make a big change, you need to change something big. She's tried changes coaches - repeatedly - so now she needs to change whoever it is advising her which seems to be her parents.
Personally I think she's had her shot & should look for something else to do: continuing to do the same things as she has for the last year is going to lead to the same results. I'm sure she's enjoying the sposorship & the red carpet stuff but it won't last much longer.
I know everyone is a pundit but having triple surgery is quite a major decision, that might change a lot of things hopefully but if she gives up then she won't know if that helps, will she? Have you played much competitive tennis with a lingering injury? Or 3?Personally I think she's had her shot & should look for something else to do: continuing to do the same things as she has for the last year is going to lead to the same results. I was speaking to a physio the other day who’s dealt with well known sports people for years.
She recons that ER isn’t physically capable of dealing with the demands of tour tennis.
And would do well to take a year or two to play some thing like US college tennis while building herself up physically.
Of course that’s not going to happen. None of her beneficiaries are going to let the golden goose do that despite it probably paying off in the long term.

BBC R4 had an interview with Naomi Broady this morning who confirmed that ER's Dad is very much involved in coaching and coach selection. She was defending this saying both she and Liam and many other players on the Tour have parents involved in their set-ups but the interviewer was gently suggesting this perhaps might not be suiting ER with quite so many coaches coming and going in such a very short space of time.

I'm struggling to correlate the relevance of the friends one chooses and the colleagues one chooses. I have friends of all sorts of personalities. This correlation is even more odd based on one interaction, on holiday, for a few minutes.

What she & her advisors are doing hasn't worked & isn't working. In fact there's a chance it has created an even worse situation where any decent coach may not touch her with a bargepole so she's only going to get access to second & third level coaches who need the work. Is a top level coach going to want to take a job where they get summarily dispensed with after a few months?

Perhaps they are not just on a salary, but their payment is based on results. In reality ER isn't going going to win much money this year, the latest guy is young and may have a mortgage to pay...
A reasonable assumption I'd have thought. Performance related bonuses for coaches is a no brainer from the athletes POV.
So, it would seem that Ricahrdson, after helping Emma to US Open success, was ready to sign a new contract to contimue, but received a call from Emma's agent, saying that they had decided to go in a different direction, which turned out to be success to failure. The agent is someone called Max Eisenbud, who also managed Maria Sharapova in the past. Eisenbud is part of IMG and earlier this year managed current World number one Iga Swiatek of Poland. Does anyone see a possible conflict of interests here? Imagine if Pep Guardiola was manager of both Manchester City and Manchester Utd.
