I don’t think even Raducanu’s harshest critic would suggest that she look to anyone on this thread for tennis career advice……
Shame as there is actually some good advice here:

(1) ditch the parents (in a professional capacity)
(2) rehire Andrew Richardson as coach; and pay his market rate for the US open win
(3) kill the social media crap
(4) stop going to PR events in the middle of a tournament and;
(5) focus on the tennis!!

Mouratoglou is apparently super concerned about the PH tennis experts becoming a real threat to his business too.

Richardson has really done well with top players of late, I can imagine his market value being really high.

I’d agree with (1), not sure about the rest.

Not to mention probably a few of those things are nonsense. Social media posting done by likely a member of the team once every 4 days means nothing. Probably the Andrew thing means little too, given he was only a coach for a few months - it wasn’t like he developed her and did a massive change to her game in that time that she’s now forgotten.

Probably the main thing is the high turnover of people. Whatever causes that needs to stop - if it’s her or the parents.

I have to agree and so would most elite athletes. I would also reiterate what someone said earlier, that ER has to listen to coaches and not try to argue with them, because whatever she may think, she doesn't know what is best for her.

How many have you asked? Can you share your data?

Up until the late nineties, I was competing in county league division 1 at men's and mixed badminton, very often against county and international players including a Commonwealth Games double gold medallist. We all knew each other, because you would be playing each other a few times each season, particularly when you factor in tournaments. I was fortunate enough to have access to a couple of very good coaches, who had previously been very good players at county and international level. Most players who were competing at that level had some sort of coaching, because as with tennis and squash, technique, tactics, conditioning are all vitally important.
In April 2021, ER started with Nigel Sears as her coach, she went on to become the youngest British player in the Open era to reach the last 16 at Wimbledon. Then for some reason she ditched Sears and hooked up with Andrew Richardson to win the US Open in July. Two weeks after that she split with Richardson.
There is absolutely nothing stable about her approach to the coaching side, it is totally chaotic.

So zero then.

Of course stability is important if you have the right coach, that's a truism.

You can't draw any conclusion about Richardson's suitability on such a small period.

Did he? I don't even eat chips.

Who's pissed on yours?

It's possible to have different opinions. It's also possible to not know something and to not make assumptions.

Richardson had coached her before the US Open stint - in fact there were over half a dozen coaches while she was younger, and half a dozen since the US Open too.

Cracking result just now against Caroline Garcia.

The level of play was pretty damned impressive. Very positive compared with post US Open performances.
