Maybe, but I don't think it should be.

This is where I think England need to improve, we're rather toothless with the old ball, so we struggle to kill teams off. I can see the middle order contributing quite a few runs between now and the new ball.
One of a few areas still smile

Usually bowls some of those overs and has a habit of getting wickets there. But yes, been an England issue for a while now. Even right back under Cook

Worst 5 wicket haul in England history? Absolute clubbie yet gets 5fer against his name, such is the game.

The problem being that for at least half the trajectory the ball is missing fourth or fifth stump. The late swing is a nightmare. Stunning.

Crawley and Pope both got shown up with bad technique though

Ball that got Root was a beauty - England need to be less reliant on him in future and everybody fails sometimes so no criticism there

Were the 1st two tests just flukes and honeymoon period? Or is this the England we know, love and deserve?

What a shambles.

Still I am enjoy the New England 'aggressive' approach. I think 'aggressive' must mean we aim to collapse even faster.

Attacking a swinging bowler is incredibly stupid.

55-6 - Do the players have something they want to do this weekend hence the collapse? Are they trying to "out England" themselves?
