Another day, another load of BS. Fury posting a message now saying he wants no rematch clause for the fight

Good. There should never be rematch clauses in title fights. Give some of the other fighters a chance.

Sounds like Fury doesn't want this really. Usyk's Manager has just been on Talksport and said in the negotiations it was Fury's lot who asked for a rematch clause in the first instance.

Fury

Weight advantage
Reach advantage
Has a great chin.
Ring craft on point.

Has he got a speed disadvantage and so not a big favourite?

I watch boxing but not a great expert, so would be interested in your views. I've always underestimated him in the past to be honest.

Date of fight is 29 April and the thoughts are Fury ain't been training and won't be at his best in time.

Will that be the date though? Personally I doubt it, although I still think the fight will happen next.

He's odds on at the bookies 2/5, Usyk is 7/4

I guess the only thing we can comfortably say is that Fury will be the biggest challenge of Usyk's career so far. It is one thing befuddling Joshua and quite another negotiating the octopus arms of Fury.

I am certain that Fury will hit Usyk more than AJ did as well.

Points win for Fury for me.

Yeah like I said the other day usyk hasn't had a plethora of world class heavyweight fights either, lots of people here are quick to rubbish fury's record but at heavyweight who else properly good has usyk beaten other than AJ?

I think Usyk slips and slides Fury then gets inside his Mr tickle arms and hits him many times then quickly backs out where he needs to cover to avoid the hits on taking range.
Usyk struggled a little against Chisora as he struggled getting inside his arms, might be easier with Fury’s longer arms?
Fascinating match up.

They should have learnt their lesson after the first Joshua fight

Bookies set the odds according to what bets have been placed, with some minor adjustment to what they think might happen.

Notice Yoka was beaten again, by the ageless brawler Carlos Takam.
Just caught this one Takam did a job on Yoka there totally bamboozled him.

Good job he got the decision but again a total mystery how they scored it! How could you then give Yoka one round? Split decision was a totally ridiculous result there!

I honestly don't think Usyk has a chance of getting close to beating Fury

His only chance is to make it an inside fight and get into Fury. TF is too big, too mobile and too smart to let that happen try as Usyk might.

I see a long and frustrating night for Usyk tbh

BTW I am a big fan of both boxers in equal measure - physical disparity is just too great a factor in this match up

...I think Fury wins the inside game too, he's a great inside fighter for such a big fella

Yoga looked less than mediocre at best. Talas gave him a thorough schooling as far as I am concerned..

Not a chance, as i said earlier. Fury keeps Usyk on the end of his long jab. The moment Usyk gets inside. Fury will lean on and hold putting his full body weight on Usyk.

I don’t believe Usyk has the one stop punching power and no way will fury let Usyk reign a barrage of punches and combinations on him..He will simply grab and hold.

Fury on points from distance behind his jab. Maybe Fury gets Usyk with a wonder punch, I don’t think I have seen Usyk take a real big power punch from any heavyweight yet (he might have i just can’t remember it)

Lack of punch power has long been a criticism of Fury too. I think Usyk will pick and poke at Fury he won't be able to hold onto something that's not there I see Usyk moving round a big target picking him off for 12 rounds. Fury will really need to have the engine. Usyk will take the mental pre fight advantage too he's already running this

This is the biggest test for both men but I think it's Fury that is most at risk of having a bad night.

Fury doesn’t seem to want to fight in the first place but I still think he wins if it does actually happen
