All the best to Amir Khan, hope he stays retired and enjoys his rewards.
per an interview with him on Bunces pod, it sounds as though he lost all the cash made up until about five years ago, so basically all the fights post canelo were basically pension building. sad how this happens
Is it sad? How's it happened? If he's blown it on extravagant crap then it's his fault really.
It’s bizarre to me that anyone wants to see boxers get hurt, with the possible exception of the wife beater or Paul King types.
Im sure I’ll end up watching but I have no enthusiasm for a third Golovkin fight. You’d have to expect Alvarez to win again but what if Golovkin wins? A fourth fight so that the series has a winner?

don't want to see him hurt, just comprehensively beaten as he was in the bivol match.Im sure I’ll end up watching but I have no enthusiasm for a third Golovkin fight. You’d have to expect Alvarez to win again but what if Golovkin wins? A fourth fight so that the series has a winner?
and yeah, not ecstatic about it either... but i'd love golovkin to get the win for obvious reasons.
i must ask.... do you purposefully have a caustic tone when you post or is it just an unfortunate manner? genuine question.. some people enjoy ruffling feathers, some people, well... it just comes over wrong

I think Lee is the equivalent of a mechanic browning PH looking at all the incorrect advice being given out and has to log off before he puts his screen through and yeah, not ecstatic about it either... but i'd love golovkin to get the win for obvious reasons.

In other news did anyone catch the Babic Balski fight? He's never going to be Ali but always delivers a show that was like a armed forces milling session!

saw the highlights of that fight... crackers!!
Well at least with this fight it is confirmed to be a level playing field.
Golovkins conditioning in recent fights and his move up in weight indicates that any pretence of him occupying the higher moral ground is now out the window.
I predict a spiteful and busy Canelo stopping GGG this time.

don't really see a stoppage ... golovkin has an incredible chin... but i see a points defeat unfortunately at this point in time
I don't actually think he will go down but I think the volume and quality of punches he starts to take from the middle rounds will ensure either the ref or his corner will call it a day for him.spikeyhead said:
I’d be interested to know the economics of this.I’d guess that BBC foot the costs of filming and broadcasting and the promoter gets his show on TV.
I’d be amazed if any money is changing hands, small hall boxing doesn’t really generate any money and I wouldn’t anticipate viewing figures that would justify BBC paying a fee.
The Welsh area belts are quite funky looking.
