The Ngannou fight showed the state Fury was in. At his age you can't wind the clock back and getting trim will just be an illusion. The older fans on here will remember John Conteh. Always looked great, even at the end, but he paid the price for the lifestyle.

I started boxing under John Lloyd at the old Kirkby stadium (showing my age here!) so obviously a massive conteh fan... Hoko too... Proper throwback gym that was ... Lloydy was a genius, conteh was a superhero up here...but agree with all of the above

The amount of big fights coming up over the next few weeks is crazy:

Canelo v Munguia - 4th May
Naoya Inoue v Nery- 6th May
Lomachenko v Kambosos Jr - 12th May
Usyk v Fury - 18th May
Opetaia v Briedis - 18th May

Plus all the associated undercards. Not a bad three weeks!

Agree, all but the heavyweight fight appeal to me.

What an odd comment.

Surely everyone with even a faint interest in Boxing is itching to see who wins?

Looking forward to it staying in to watch the whole card on TNT. Big Tyson Fury fan watched every bout since the one where he nearly knocked himself out with his own uppercutthumbup

Exactly, can you remind me who he was meant to be hitting in that fight. The name escapes me and I haven't got time to read "gloves off" again

Yep, too early. Madrimov too easy to hit and Bud too hard.

Would love to see Lomo pick up the IBF, father time can't be fought forever, especially with his style.

Really looking forward to it.

Crawford vs Madrimov now scheduled too.

Looks like a lot of big fights this year. Finally a good year for boxing if it all happens.

Getting close now to the big one, Fury has been all sorts of quiet the last few weeks. He must be going to turn up.

Ryan Garcia is alleged to to have tested for PEDs in his last fight.
If so that's ruined his career. From such a high to being scum considering he came in heavy as well.

If it is just Ostarine then I expect Eddie to be able to manage that away in time.
