Oooooh excited for Saturday now that Farrell has been dropped !!!
If that is the case it is pretty much a free shot for SB - I can't see us beating France (nor Scotland beating Ireland) so we're not going to win the 6N, nor are we going to get the wooden spoon so an ideal opportunity to try out against a top-tier oppoChallo said:
But is this more about Smith having to play at 10 with Farrell at 12 who isn't a centre. I would much rather see Smith given a run of games with a back-line of players who play those positions week in week out.
If he still doesn't perform then maybe the step up is too much, but at the moment he hasn't had the right players around him.
Yay, yay thrice yay. If he still doesn't perform then maybe the step up is too much, but at the moment he hasn't had the right players around him.

According to the Telegraph, Farrell’s been dropped to the bench and Smith starts vs France.
The right call by Borthwick, but a big one nonetheless (if true)

Do you think anyone from the UK should automatically support home nations v 'Johnny foreigners'?
interesting question. It does grind somewhat when you constantly seem to hear/see A.B.E. from certain sections, but for me (outside of England) I'll happily support whichever country plays the best/most entertaining rugby - traditionally France, but more and more Italy are getting thereBluequay said:
I'm going to send Eddie Jones some Tena for men, because he must have pissed himself laughing watching this rubbish.
I have to say that it did seem to me that for the 1st try Slade just didn't put any effort into covering back - that said he does have a very 'lazy looking' running style so I may be a little harsh.
