Ah, the mighty Chelski, oh what a different club they'd be without the never ending millions. Slightly jealous maybe, but the sooner we get an 'even' playing field in the Premiership, the better!

I'd rather let someone else do it and watch decent football in Devon.

There is decent football in Devon???

Of course. Well, East Devon - not sure the Turkeys count. As for them lot down the A38 - everyone knows they're in Cornwall.

You sad Exeter people! You still have a massive chip on your shoulders about PAFC don't you? You have always been a poorer club, smaller club and poorly supported club in comparison to us. Okay, you'll probably be a complete anorak and quote specific seasons from the 1920's and 30's where you finished above us but you will always be a bunch of losers. FFs you were using our team coach last season Obviously your usual double decker was on a school run.

Ooooh, getting to you is it? And I thought you lot down the road didn't care about ECFC any more. Oh, and just off the top of me head, it was the 1998/99 season that was the last time we finished above you, but who's counting....

No mate, you're welcome to your team. After all what else have we to do in this corner of the west country but poke fun at each other?

Actually my mate is the Commercial Manager for ECFC, it's just a subject we don't talk about!

Definitely. I met him for the first time when I went for my mascot audition and is a great bloke. He's always been a great help since I started in my role.

Another for NUFC here.

News years day 1985, I was introduced to football to watch Newcastle beat Sunderland 3-1.

Liverpool...

Less that brilliant pre-season thus-far, but they're only friendlies I guess.

Good to see Scott Carson's signed a new contract (he's a local lad to us W Cumbrian Liverpool fans, used to play amateur stuff with one of my work colleagues) after all the rumours of him being farmed out on loan; would be good to see him get a few games (league cup perhaps?).
