i figure they just wanted to fit in and named their favorite sport after the favorite sport of the rest of the world. how sad.

Manchester City.....

Manager Stuart Pearce has abandoned his "kids" policy and gone for experience....

Probable line up next year will be Trautmann in goal, then, Book, Pardoe,Doyle, Helsop, Oakes, Summerbee, Bell, Lee, Young and Coleman.....

Wrexham.

Were still in business and looking for a promotion season. 1st Preseason friendly at home this weekend to Liverpool! should earn us a few quid.

Looking forward to some intense battles with the likes of Shrewsbury and Chester

Kettering Town. (lapsed) Gazza briefly managed the side in late 05! Always had a soft spot for Arsenal and Leeds utd.

I support Newcastle United. We're up against the might of Lillehammer in the intertoto cup this weekend with Albert Luque on his own up front. We really need Bertie to score in order to attract a proper striker.
My other team, since we seem to be allowing a handful each, is Fiorentina.
Which team's in worse shape? The headless, shearer'n'owen-less Toon, or the about-to-be-relegated Viola? Should be a fun season
