16k?? You wish. And I bet every single one of them will swear blind that they were regulars when you were getting 3k in division four not so many years ago when we regularly used to beat you home and away <smirk>....

And there's the crux of it. when and used to

You're a long way from Kansas (or the football league) now Toto!

WTF? Kansas? I'd say we have more chance of promotion and less chance of relegation than your lot.

Can I add another question to this thread?

How much does everybody's season tickets cost them?, or if they don't have season tickets how much does the average ticket cost?.

Start the ball rolling: Govan Stand Ibrox = £519 per season.

They give Wrexham season tickets away! seriously they do weve just been bought by a car dealer whos giving a free ticket away with every used Vaxhaull worldbox he sells.

The way I see it if your stupid enough to buy a Corsa then you deserve a full season of pain watching Wrexham!.

How odd does your Stadium look!, it just looks daft.

Any plans to devolope the rest of the ground aswell?

Daft? Why daft?

I dunno I'll have to ask Uncle Freddie about that one. Actually we can't there are listed buildings behind the East Stand and building any higher would block the sunlight out.

That's not exactly something to brag about though, given the tin-pot organisation that is the Conference. That's not a dig at Exeter but it seems you just have to manage to stay in business to stay up these days. (Cambridge fan)

How do you rate your chances given that Inglethorpe has upped sticks?

Not sure really, we haven't made many signings yet, although Adam Stansfield is a good one.

Tisdale seems to talk the talk well and has a good attitude to it, and by all accounts th eteam looked really good against fulham on saturday, soooo hopefully....

How confident are yourselves?

Hahaha - not no more Nic. I'm mellow and content now that the powers that be listened. I'm not going down that one again...well, not until the groundshare with the Chiefs comes up again..<grr>

And Venom: our chances? Dunno really. I quite liked Inglethorpe, but though he ran away when it started to get tough rather than stick it out, so I suppose in the end it's better that he went when he did. As for the new guy, Tisdale, I'm not convinced. I hope he does do well and will give him my support, but I do think the step up for him is just too big. We'll see.

Now that the World Cup has been headbutted squarely into 2010 by Zizou... ave it you failed Everton defender , it is time for the proper football to begin. From freezing December evenings in Walsall to mouth scorching pies in Plymouth, the English domestic season is back! The time has come dear friends to swear alliegence to our chosen team and prepare for a season of banter, stereotypes and endless jokes about Peter Crouch - forza football and let us begin!

The first vote of the new season for the best team in the land must surely go to 5 times European Champions, 18 times league winners and a guarantee for the title this year:

Nottingham Forest

nope only jesting - there can only be one:

THE MIGHTY REDS - LIVERPOOL FC

Let battle commence

No argument here, I think a few of the new signings are exciting, especially looking forward to what Bellamy can bring to the table. When you consider that two wins (home and away) over Chelsea would have made the boys Premiership champions last season makes you think that finally we can reclaim that title
