You know it mate. And, secretly, I bet you can't wait to have us back in the league again. How far is it to your nearest 'derby' now?

Chris hacket Hearts to Millwall, looks like Spackman is building a fast little side with the pace of Morais and Hacket on each wing, byfield up front with Williams and Mcinnes bossing the side.

Hmm... Liverpool:

first bad-boy Craig Bellamy (we all know his history - seems only Mark Hughes could curb this lad's "exuberance" ), now possibly Jermaine Pennant (£6.2m, although Birmingham are denying it) - DD conviction, fighting in Greek holiday spot, sent home from England U-21 training camp...

All we need now is Rafa to employ Vinnie Jones as assistant coach, and we'll have a real life "Mean Machine" at Anfield.

I can see the Pannini sticker album now: the Liverpool team made up of full face and profile mugshots rather than the usual cheesy grin and shoulders view

Disclaimer: As an avid/life long Liverpool fan, I'm quite willing to judge these chaps on their performances on the pitch and hope their behaviour off it whist in Liverpool's employ is of a better standard - players are after all ambassadors for their clubs

I agree on the Liverpool signing of Pennant, he has been all promise and future talent for years and been not very good on the pitch and a complete retard away from it. £6.2 million is a lot of wedge for the guy but hopefully he will come good for Liverpool

In other news, Damien Duff to Newcastle and Ruud Van Donkey to Bayern Munchen - apparently

Has Pennant learnt to pass yet?

Great skill, but a rubbish football player! He was at Watford for a long time, and hardly set the world on fire in whatever-they-were-calling-the-next-league-down-at-the-time....

It's alright mate, they've got Robbie Fowler to keep them in check!

Apologies to all Spanish speakers in advance - the grammar's probably way out!

Liverpool FC estar reformatorio

ETA: the Pennant deal is £6.7m, possibly rising to £8m, with Arsenal getting 25%. Seems a lot of cash for "potential", rather than a proven player.

Funny that... we sold Michael Owen to Real Madrid for circa £8 million! Slight gulf in class there I fear!

Made 497 crosses into boxes from right wing (no 1 in Opta stat for passing in Premiership last season).

Let hope this season Premiership title is our !! C'mon Kop.

Yeah ... but don't you actually need a striker to ... like ... score from those crosses?

I'm sure even Crouch could get his head on enough of those crosses to at least score a couple of goals.... then there's always the knock downs for Stevie G!!

That won't go down well...

When he originally came to England we were the front runners to sign him, and he buggered off and joined someone else!

Carrick to Man Utd - Spurs & Man U fans in the office seem to think the fee is around £15m (Man Utd offered 12 initially, which was rejected).

One theory behind Duff going to Newcastle rather than Tottenham even though Spurs offered more, is that "Chelsea are scared of spurs!" (from the office Spurs fan ) - more likely is that Spurs were going to pay Duff £50k/wk, and asked Roman Abramovich to chip in another £20k/wk wages (cheeky!)
