Two live games, they cover the late matches on Sunday and Monday nights.... tis the wee small hours over this side of the pond, so you may need a few stiff coffees!!

Over here we have a game called 'Rugby'. The main difference (other than not wearing padding) is that the big guys (only around 280lbs) in rugby actually have to be able to move, rather than just block. Rugby also involves extended periods of play without a break (ie longer than 20seconds).
Also, in rugby its illegal to block a defender from making a tackle (unlike NFL). You see bigger hits in rugby, fact.

Im a massive rugby fun and do enjoy the NFL. To compare the two is simply stupid. There are bigger hits in NFL more often but there are just as big hits in rugby. The tackling in NFL is very different too. The blocking argument is stupid too, you allowed to do it one and not in the other, no arguments and comparison.
Both great games, very different
Don't slag off a sport you don't understand and can't appreciate.

I'm starting to watch NFL a bit more as I start to to understand it all but I still like Ice Hockey a lot more.
