Basingstoke town, currently the strongest team in the conference south rolleyes, nine quid to get in,every club you visit has a clubhouse where you can freely mix with the other supporters and enjoy a great atmosphere with a pre-match meal and beer.
And the standard at this level is pretty good.

Enjoyed a day out to Welling FC in the FA Trophy today and a hard fought 0-0 draw, replay this tues with the winner pocketing 4K for reaching the next round, much needed cash when you're down here.

I watched Slough Town v Hampton & Richmond today. I was torn between my hometown Slough and H&R who my cousin was playing for. H&R hammered Slough 3-0 but Slough have problems paying wages and have recently had their best players walk out on them. They'll do well to be in the Ryman Premiership next season. As it is they are using Windsor's ground because our council decided to grant permission for a school to be built in place of Slough Town Football Stadium.

I wouldn't say that i'm an avid fan of Slough but I do look out for the results hoping that they have won....except today!

My cousin is Rob Paris. As for who has left Slough Town recently, I know Jamie Jarvis left (formally of Windsor) but don't know any other plyaer by name, only that according to the manager the best playrs are leaving. I guess the ones that were earning the most and can't afford to not get paid.

One thing I did miss from watching footie on TV is the action replays. I felt sorry for the ref because I found it difficult to see all the goins on, even from my elevated postion in the stands.

Ps, Considering Slough got beaten easily yesterday, I think you missed any chance of poaching the best players.

Has anybody played with or against Danny Huggins. He played for a number of teams but sadly died in a motorcycling accident back in 1999.

Great idea for a thread btw OP clap

FOR quid.............Strooooth....bloody hell.......does Arsne knock em up personally.

Havent been able to see my beloved Dagenham this season , but maintaining second to Oxford and selling two of our best players in Jan to Peterborough is nothing short of a miracle.

Used to watch Chesham United a lot in my youth, typically if they were at home and Watford were away.

One of my favourite ever away games was Bognor Regis vs Chesham (0-4 it finished, but a very fun day out on a warm May day)

Not sure. I will ask my cousin the next time I speak to him. He probably played against him a few times.

Crookesy is having a good season in goal, coley and hallam have shown snippets of form but not blowing the world away. We should have gone for Osman and offered Ruddy a bit more!!!
Give Frank a poke in the eye from me next time you see him!!

Any other NL chaps oop north???
