Half my squad is playing tomorrow, including the big guns here's hoping for a decent showing and no shoulder dislocation issues! The teams up top just now do have a heavyish England weighting so it should close up a bit tomorrow as unrepentant says. What does the winner of the PH mini league win? The right to brag endlessly until next year?

I do, and I'm certain he'll retain his place at 10 for next weeks game against Scotland. I'd love to see Henson get his chance, but I can't see it happening at the moment because Gareth Jenkins seems to be harbouring some kind of irrational hatred of him. The fact that we had 7 top line backs injured or suspended for yesterdays game and he still couldn't even get a place on the bench tells it's own story!

Damn I was hoping for a bit of a better points haul today, im creeping towards the bottom of the league, TGS is doing really well! only 20 points off first place overall! well done that man!
Thank you very much, but there's still a long way to go yet...

Oh come on, the only reason he'll keep his shirt is because he is captain. He was terrible yesterday, defence was shocking and went backwards most of the time.
It seems your country men agree with me www.rugbyrebels.com/mb/showthread.php?t=6363

Don't get me wrong, I think he had a pretty poor game yesterday. All I'm saying is that one poor game doesn't suddenly make him a bad player. Let's hope he takes the opportunity to redeem himself next week!

Plently of sources - try the BBC or Planet Rugby.

and another thing... how did one of my players manage to get minus points???
You might wanna log on and check the rules fella!
Players can lose points for getting a red or yellow card, but I don't think anyone got any of those on the weekend (although at least 2 Irish forwards should have done), so it won't be that. However, players also lose points if their team loses (and gain points if their team wins or draws), so that's probably what's happened in your case.

I've realised now that I made a huge mistake in going for quality forwards. With the way the scoring works I should have gone for the cheapest forwards and spent the points on Wilko and another high scoring back.
It depends how you define "quality" I suppose. You're not going to get any points for picking the best lineout jumping 2nd row or the strongest scrummaging prop on the planet, but if you can pick forwards that are likely to score tries then you're onto a winner as they score more highly for tries scored than the backs to. However, it's true to say that the side you'd pick fora fantasy team wouldn't be the same as the team you'd pick to take the field in a real game!
I'm happy not to be bottom and I do have 5 Frenchies in my team so will hopefully pick up a few points tomorrow. Having derided the Scots for a woefull performance last week Chris Paterson came through for me today. And I nearly transferred him out yesterday.
