Should be cracking this weekend.

My beautiful Liverpool FC take on Everton who are aiming for the double.
England Vs Scotland in the rugby, England hoping to sort themselves out.

To me sport is about on and off the pitch, the needle the little digs, the little psychological battles, the history.
One of the greatest sporting events for me was the rumble in the Jungle, the self hype by Ali, the setting etc.

Off pitch activity makes the on pitch win all the more glorious and sweeter...

Which is why I think we have the potential to have a bloody good game on our hands.
Liverpool are on okay form but I respect Everton for being able to pull a gutsy game out of the bag when it is needed ie a derby game.

Liverpool are on OK form... are you having a giraffe? In the premiership barring one dodgy result against Blackburn, we have been on top form beating pretty much anything put in our path in recent weeks. We beat Chelsea in our last 'big' game (no offence to West Ham!) Everton will put up a huge fight, but at Anfield I can only see it going one way personally...

Not seen much of this Fernandez guy we have, i still feel we need AJ to be playing to cause problems. Im pretty sure he wont be fit so probably wont offer much in attack.

You'd have to fancy Liverpool at home in this one. They are a decent team, although i think they are miles behind Arsenal, Man Utd and Chelsea in the squads.
