Still catching up on the finale of TUF - still have prelims and fightnight! One comment is these new 'uniforms' are UGLY.
I did find it funny when 2 fighters were rolling round on the floor and the only branding the camera was picking up were the ref's Nike airs, .Its pretty wierd not having the posters behind fighters and you wonder what deal someone like jon jones would have been on as i bet Nike weren't paying him $50k a year.
Did you notice ufc 189 even had the short colours mixed up on the first fight. Even the didn't know.
The next show starts in an hour or so in Scotland iirc.
Some good fights on the Scotland show this past weekend, strong performances from the Scots, Joe Duffy was awesome as usual. I used to compete at the same amateur events as him in the late 2000's and he was always head and shoulders above everyone, a completely different league to the rest of us, it was clear he'd go far, Hope that one day he gets a rematch with Mcgregor that would be a massive fight if held in Ireland

I couldn't agree less, the nature of mma is that once someone get's the upper hand in a fight they tend to look like they're dominating, no one really predicted how average Cain Valesquez would look the other week
Who did that?Halb said:

Fabricio Werdum. Is that what you were asking?
Yeah. Without a regular station I don't watch it anymore, but I skim read the thread now and then.Dana was a plank imo for not putting UFC in a decent 'free' channel here.

You want her to lose? I do think it will be her biggest test yet.
I do. Cannot stand the woman. Ever since the series of TUF she was in she just showed herself to be a really bad loser and very unsportsmanlike. She's been banging on about putting this girl through a world of pain because she made a comment which upset Rousey.anonymous said:

Well punching people in the face and breaking arms is a y thing to be doing, and she does it well... I can't ever see her being beaten at this weight, I think she's going to have to move up before anyone could get close to her, this Brazillian girl has home advantage -that's it. I read somewhere she'd only been training MMA 3 years and never did anything growing up, Rhonda was born on a Judo mat and was an MMA world champion before Corria first pulled a glove on - There all mismatches really for Rhonda but this could be the one that really embarrasses the UFC (and the last one lasted 14 seconds!)FredClogs said:

Yeah but so does Nick and Nate Diaz and although they play the game well I just don't get that underlying nastiness from them. Be bad,be mean its the job, be a sort loser and poor sportsman, not for me. Agree with the rest though, hard to see her being beaten by anyone so far. I thought Cat had a chance last time but she foolishly flew in at the start and it was game over, hopefully Corria is more measured
