Still be on at like 5am-6am.

There isnt as much hype about this fight as there hasn't really been any build up drama, no smashing up buses or throwing bottles in press conferences.

Does it being in Dubai help any bit on the watching times for us on this side of the world ?
Looks like McGregor is pencilled in for 05:15 - so the answer is no if you're in UK.
Cheers, early alarm it is then. Despite thoroughly disliking the man (and I'm Irish) I'll most likely still get up for it. Guess that's why Dana loves him.

Really dislike McGregpr the individual but his striking is delightful in the octagon (not the ring!!) I suspect he will win but hope he loses. A lot of people who I respect are tipping Poirier by points though.

I think it's quite a close call tbh. So Poirier at 13/5 odds seemed like good value to me to put a few quid on.

Both guys look in amazing shape.

Still think Conor will win, and pretty easily, but will be very happy to see it go longer.

Given in and purchased it on BT Sport, first time I've paid for a PPV.

Agreed. I can't see it getting out of the first round.

Also fascinated by Mcgregor's demeanour at the moment; I'm not buying the sudden dose of humility at all. He certainly seems genuinely pissed that he has to go through the motions with the likes of Poirier until he gets (in his eyes) a decent fight.

Plus Nurmagomedov doesn't just randomly happen to be in the same hotel either.

I need to try and get it working via VPN here in Budapest

BT Sport on Apple TV no longer works after Brexit but I can watch on the phone with vpn on.

Hoping I can pay for it there and stream to the Apple TV.

Nurmagomedov's cousin (Umar Nurmagomedov) was fighting last weekend hence why Khabib is there. If Khabib wanted a match UFC would of drilled up some kind of meeting between the 2 in the hotel for it to kick off.. that hasn't happened. I genuinely believe Khabib has said no and wants away.

Wasn't this fight supposed to happen away from UFC (Conor vs Dustin) to be a some kind of exhibition fight so Conor can get ready for Pacman?

I'm taking Dustin to win at 3-1 tonight - it seemed like good value to me.

The way I see it, Conor has never had much ground game to offer and basically fought nobody good since 2018 when he got beaten.

Dustin has more to offer and got more heart

It's very hard to call but I'm erring on Dustin for the win. Especially if it gets past the first round or two.

Connor hasn't been very active compared to Dustin, and has been prone to gassing out in the past.

I love the way they both fight and its great to see Connor back.

What time should we set the alarm for? 4am to be safe? Only bothered about the main event.

Annoyingly the BT box office app thinks my phone is in India so wont let me watch it, web version but Chrome wont cast it from web to TV either for some reason so sat infront of the computer.
