And then post fight interview said he didn't give a st he missed weight .

His ground games awesome though just totally threw the other guy around and flowed over him like water.
Maybe a good job he finished it so early though, he must have been emptying his tank at a rapid rate.

I got up for the 2 co main events, whilst Chimaev was mighty impressive and I really like both Diaz and Ferguson it just didn't grab me. Ferguson looked like he was more interested in 'showing respect' for want of a better expression than getting stuck in. I know he cut his shin early but I found it strange he didn't continue with the leg kicks as they were clearly doing damage and what was with all the back turning? Nice finish in he end from Nate though.

And how did the Chinese guy not win , he was getting jabbed in the head but they were totally powerless and had no effect.

You mean the guy who's head got split and lost by TKO in the first round?

I'm pretty sure he means Li Jingliang who lost a dodgy decision to Daniel Rodriguez at UFC 279.

Heads up for UFC 280 - don't forget it's from UAE so the main card is 7pm onwards. Really looking forward to this one, some great fights at the top of the card and I've been following the potential future champ Muhammad Mokaev for a while since he used to train locally to me.

I am so out of touch with MMA, moved house a year ago and didn't take the cable package that gives BT so have only seen the odd highlights.

Virgin and Sky both offer BT Sport on their platforms. Around £15/m iirc.

I assuming you can with a smart TV but can you buy a PPV without being a regular BT sport subscriber?

Totally get that.

I have it for the rugby and the UFC is a bonus (except when the grasping beggars want £19.95 for a PPV like this week)

I have paid for the PPV via my MySky account online, I aren't a regular BT Sport subscriber. It just adds the £20 to my next bill.

The winner didn't even think he'd won. That was a terrible decision.

Possibly a 29-28 but the other way round.

I almost bet on him to win and he went to 14-1 at one point.

I have stuck a little money on Charles though who is the underdog. I haven't seen too much of Islam but Charles has managed to weather the storm against some tough guys and find a way to win.

Feel like his corner should have thrown in the towel. Definitely during second round but I guess TJ would rather get choked / KO than quit.
