I haven't gone through the full card for tomorrow but saw that Sergei Pavlovich is fighting Curtis Blaydes.
I was surprised to see that Pavlovich is the underdog in the fight. He's been very impressive in everything i've seen of him. Whereas Blaydes is more a B grade fighter in the division. I've bet on Pavlovich to win that fight and honestly think I should be betting more as I don't see how Blaydes wins except for a dodgy decision.

I'm biased as it's what I do/teach and I've also trained with Jeff (who is a beast!), but I thought some of you might find The Ultimate Self Defence Championship a fun watch:

I've seen Jeff's YouTube videos before. Is he really a pro fighter? It seems a bit of a stretch considering his last fight was in 2020 and he's not got much of a record to speak of.
Watching latest series of Ultimate Fighter. Three things I've noticed about Connor....he is a terrible coach. Like, really poor. He is geared out his gourd. Fat face, fat neck, he's got that smooth test and deca look ...and he'll never win, or maybe even have, another competitive UFC battle. Its brand Connor now, I think the fire is gone....understandable with his loot. Fair play to him I guess.
I'm surprised he's allowed to work in the USA given his being friends status with members of the kinahan cartel.
Fury wasn't (isnt) allowed to fight to his friendship kinks or was that all bs and just an excuse yo get more money from the middle East?
I can't believe his wife stays with him given how many times he's been caught cheating either.

I said the same to my lad. There's alot more to coaching than just being a cheerleader.
And yes, the moon face is a dead giveaway....
Beeeyootiful, beeeyootiful...he also looked genuinely surprised when Steven Thompson suggested he helped with the coaching...guys such an enigma. I cannot abide his 'fight personality' yet we see some glimpses of vulnerability, ferocious intelligence, an intuitive grasp of MMA in the documentaries and interviews. I think his public persona is an extension of his natural demons, the ones we all have, but he is paid so well to display them that he finds it hard to figure out who he is, or was. Its like a very public schizophrenia which must be horrendous for his family and friends too watch. I wonder if he has anyone strong enough to rein him in in his inner circle? He was a very good fighter in his day, I never thought he was an elite level even taking the Aldo defeat into account, but he was top of the rest for sure. If he fights anywhere near the weight he's carrying now he will be humiliated by much bigger men who might not have his natural gifts but are just naturally stronger. I think this weight gaining, particoualry the way it seems he has chosen to do it, will mean the end of his career as a top level fighter. That and the 'silk pyjamas' scenario Marvin Hagler once identifiedAnd yes, the moon face is a dead giveaway....

Never imagined I'd read one of the most insightful and empathetic MMA posts I've seen in years, on here.plenty said:

I can't see the USA sanctioning him to fight in the USA with his apparent/alleged friendship with organised crime unless that was a load of bs from the fury camp on why they can't fight out there?
Did you see the gash/slice in Lees knee in tuf and how it wasn't bleeding. Dude was unlucky
