Mean that Price knows Haye is a stiffer challenge, but would love for it to happen, I've heard quite a lot of praise for Price in the past and actually this is his first fight that i've seen. But one thing we do know is that Haye always brings excitement and controvesy and gets people talking. Want to see more of this kind of excitment in the HW division
Funny you should say that mate, because it's the first Price fight I've seen live too.

I would also like to see a Haye fight come off, because it would be a good stepping stone to world level. BUT, I would really, really like to see Price take Fury apart to put him back in his box.
Haven't seen Fury fight either, only thing I've seen of Fury was when he uppercutted himself lmao who remembers that.

I've followed both, and have watched Price and Fury fight quite a few times. It would make a good fight, but ultimately Price is several classes above Fury.

Price is shockingly fast for someone of his size, and I would back him against a much harder opponent. The next step for him to take would be for the European belt. That would set him up for a later shot at the world titles. Unfortunately I don't think we will ever see him take on a Klitchsko, as they will have retired by then. Price would give either of them a run for their money, but he doesn't represent a good challenger at the moment (although Chisora managed a shot...).

Harrison should retire now. He's given it a go, but he's 40 now, and so should move on before his delusion gets him seriously hurt.

Excellent, what a div. I've watched most of the Fury fights on Channel 5, he never looks in great shape and never looks to have the power or skill that Price has. I think Fury has to either accept the Price fight or accept that he can't go world level.
Fury had some personal issues recently, but in his last fight he was very much in top shape. If he took the whole sport seriously, and worked hard, then he could be a big name in boxing

Here's the fight highlights. Fair play, Price landed some massive shots. The last two are brutal.

Do you think so? He's always looked like little more than a bum to me. As you say, domestic at best.

His last fight was against that New Yorker bloke wasn't it? He was in better shape, but not a patch on either Haye when he last fought or Price when he fought tonight.

Correct. And no, he wasn't in the physical condition you would expect of Haye or Price. But much better than he normally is.

Fury is good, I will give you that. But he would lose to Price, although it wouldn't be inside a single round like Fraudley.

Any thoughts on the other fights?

spoiler alert....

I thought the Degale fight was great, surprised at the margin though, that French dude was tough and I like a fighter that comes forward, perhaps it's just a personal thing, but I didn't think James deserved that margin of victory.

Also, Eubank Jnr looked very sharp against a very tough and durable opponent, lightning hand speed, very calm, thoughtful performance. Maybe he IS as good as people say.

Bloody should have listened to Nick S. Congrats on that.

That was devastating. As others have said, Audley really should give it up now, it's never nice to see a boxer really hurt.

I would like to see Price take Fury apart. Can't believe the nonsense Fury was coming out with during the Chunky fight. Did he forget that he vacated so he wouldn't have to go toe to toe with Price?

Anyone else think Skelton should be missed and Price should be looking slightly higher up the heavyweight tree? Helenius maybe, or is it too early?

Awesome finishing from Price, that'll have a few of the top boys in the division watching on with interest. Lets face it though Harrison is 10 years past his best and even at that he was never more than good at European level.

I think Skelton will be an interesting next fight and Price will arguably learn a lot more from it. Skelton has an unorthodox style and ploughs in with his head a lot which given Price's height will likely be how a lot of the smaller guys try to tackle him. Skelton also has a good chin on him and will try to engage in an all out brawl. So it'll be a good test of discipline and if he KO's him probably a better indication of just how hard he really can bang.

I think the Fury fight will happen at some point but given current form there is only one winner there. Haye would be interesting but I can't see it happening, too much risk for Haye and can see him ducking it.

Price is a very good prospect but just that, even at this point. Saying he'd beat Haye/Wlad or even Chisora is getting carried away somewhat. There are still too many unanswered questions at this point, ones he'll have to answer with tougher competition.

Can't see Price beating Haye.
Unless he changes his style to the way he fought Harrison he'll be a sucker for the Haye superfast uppercuts & body shots.

It might be he was a bit to confident with Harrison in front of him, but as he is stalking him, to me, he looks like an Ali impersination of Formean as the Mummy. Sorry I know he is a prospect but his head is really high, no movement at all & his movement(wooden) looks tailor made for Haye to make a load of money. There lies the problem, Haye seems to have delusions of grandeur where he seems to think he is some kind of superstar Tyson,Ali, Roy Jones,Mayweather where he can command a certain purse. The reality is he was very good coming up through the ranks then beat a 7' flabby statue Valuev & then lost to a so so Klitchko performance.boxedin

I too find Price a little 'Bruno-like' at the moment for him to be able to take on anyone of real talent. Still, he has time and even Bruno won a version of the HW title.

Not really sure where you're going with the delusions of grandeur line...Haye has always recognised he'll never be considered a Heavyweight great like Lennox Lewis. However, he is one of the most exciting Heavyweight in the post Lewis/Tyson/(prime) Holyfield era due to a combination of his speed, athleticism, punch power, aggression, vulnerability, charisma, looks and his ability to generate hype. And in a time where very few Heavyweight are able to deliver both inside AND outside the ring (at least from a 'western' perspective), he is box-office. The size of purse he commands isn't delusional either; he was one half of the biggest Heavyweight fight since Lennox retired and is even able to fill a football stadium when there's little more at stake than settling a bit of bad blood...

Regarding the Price 'style', I'm not sure how much can be concluded from 2mins of action...other than if he hits clean, Price has the potential to knock out anyone...
