we were talking about this the other day in derry's gym.matthews is sponsored by the same suppliments company as fury and the lads were saying tyson was looking really ripped over recent weeks.i still think price's class shines through in this match up.

I agree, Price has excellent handspeed, and I would guess Fury still has those chicken thin legs.

However, it's good to see that he appears to be taking things a bit more seriously. He'll still be a tough customer should Price fight him.

the problem you've got is fury's big fat manager.hennessy doesn't want his cash cow starched just yet.even in last nights boxing news the cheeky fat fker is stating that fury is the real draw and has the proven pedigree!!(vinny maddalone for fks sake!!) so there is no way a 50/50 split on the money is going to happen.
that's as good as saying they are pricing themselves out of the fight before negotiations have even happened.also, as i said up thread, the whispers are that wlad will announce his next opponent for feb after wach and that opponent is likely to be fury.

Good bill on Box Nation just now though backdated - the Shobox bill including Moreno V De La Mora and Mares v Morel + Fernando Vegas and Andrade just ended) v Bryan

And Kell Brook v Saldivia tomorrow night from 8.00 on Sky. Should be interesting to see how his new dedication affects his performance.

Looking forward to tonight's fight.the feature on brook on ringside was great.I had to laugh at the bit with Richard towers in the gym a few years ago and Kell saying for a grand a week he'd go to camp klitschko to spar himself.reminded me of a good pal of mine a few years ago in the amateurs.everyone was giving towers a wide berth because he was snapping guys in half.so they offered George 200 quid to box him.without a flicker he accepted.he lost on points but did himself proud.fking nutter !

Remind me, is this an eliminator for a world title shot, a final eliminator for a world title shot or a cross-my-heart-and-hope-to-die-if-you-win-this-you-get-a-world-title-shot final eliminator for a world title shot? I've lost track...

All of the above... probably.

Do the IBF also create new colours of belt each week, like Soiledbadman does for his mates and relatives.

Predictions for the Kell Brook fight then lads?

I'd like to think Kell can KO him, if I were to bet that I'd guess round 7 or 8.

Being a sheffielder I should have confidence in him doing the job quick so;

KO / stoppage round 1 or 2 or 3 with a banker of 11.

Who knows tho the other geezer looks ripped.

From what I've seen of the other guy which is not a lot he seems quite crude and vulnerable.careless as well.brook by early stoppage I think.

Don't mean to be harsh because a win's a win, but if Anderson was in with George Groves, I think he would have been despatched without fuss...

Khan should be stting himself. I've not really rated Brook that highly before, but that was impressive

I think Brook has a fantastic jab. It's deceiving as it doesn't look like it has much snap in it and it looks a bit arm-y. But he generates so much power from his shoulder it's like a ram-rod and can be delivered without him having to wind it up, so with virtually no telegraphing. Great punch...

I think Khan V Brook would be a great fight, Brook would come out on top.

As they say, this!

If he keeps with the programme he'll benefit no end; that talk of doing it by the numbers is just what the top athletes in most sports are doing. About time boxing - and Brook - caught up.
