Sad to say I can't really see a future for Price, he's approaching 33 so times not on his side. Even if he gets another opportunity and takes it, soon or later he's going to get hit and it seems like he just doesn't have the ability to take a solid shot.

Absolutely gutted for price. I was watching thinking jab jab jab jab. No fking jab whatsoever. They were "keep away from me" jabs not "taste this yer bd" jabs.
Mentally ruined by Thompson I think because before that he was a monster. When Thompson landed that shot on his ear as his arm was down past his waist I thought he'll learn a lesson there. Last night he was exactly the same.you can hang your jab hand low to mask it but you've got to pull your shoulder up to cover the chin.

He did the former without doing the latter.

Imagine if he fought like that against a marauding Joshua!

Never mind what happened when they sparred. In real life fighting like that he'd get mullered

Didn't they spar when AJ was still an amateur?

I can't see Price carrying on much more now. It's not much a problem with his chin, it's how poor he is at defending himself. He was getting knocked around in round 1 and wasn't imposing himself.

Even if he did come back and beat 3-4 more people, if he were signed up to face AJ then AJ would be the heavy favourite.

Gutted for Price. A stoppage like that is enough to destroy whatever confidence he had left.

Joshua was a novice pro......price also gave haye hell when haye was a champion and price was a green novice. It's fking heartbreaking for me to have watched him progress from my amateur gym to the solly all the way to Olympic glory and be a monster who had all his confidence go after Thompson. Tony did to to pricey what Calzaghe did to lacey. He fking ruined him

I've never rated price. Looks the part but no heart.

Really nice chap and all that but he just ain't got the chin for it. He reminds me of AK - another plastic 'champion' that wobbles like jelly with a decent slug to the mush.

He's well and truly finished now poor bloke

Even during the price fight I was thinking... Has there ever been a pro boxer who has turned amateur? Is it even possible? Because Price seems like he'd do well in the amateur ranks and there is money to be made and glory to be had, I'm not taking the piss, is it possible?

Come on Quigg!

(martin Murray looked awesome!)

Yeah, he's a bit on the slim side of skinny, but he moves well, Frampton undoubtedly has the heavier hands, his front leg is very stiff though, I dunno, if this goes the 12 I think Frampton will lose and I want to see the Crolla fight and the ufc is taping so I can't tape both... Hurry up carl!

Pathetic verdict. Crolla won that by at least 3 points
