Chaps, why not book a weekend course in N Wales or somewhere local to you. The routes aren't colour coded, and you get some stunning scenery to boot.

Might well do but as a beginner thought i'd try this out first and see where it takes me. Looking forward to it!

Well that was tough but good fun!

The instructor said I would find it tough as im 6ft and was the tallest out of the group. Is very satisfying completing a route that you've struggled to make previously.

Can't totally recommend the Westway for all those in London - has over 64 seperate walls and 100's of routes!

Tried indoor climbing/boldering last week, absolutely loved it!! Anyone else do it?

yep, off & on for ~16 years. I'm just recovering from another finger injury at the moment, make sure you warm up properly is all I can say
