As a dolphins fan I'm not sure how I feel about ajayi being traded away. Been poor this season always going for the highlight reel run and last year despite getting 1200 yards half of them came in 3 games.

But now our already weak offense is now even worse and our passing game is going to be under even more pressure.
The dolphins this season have been a sinking ship, the Eagles are 6-1(?), given the potentially limited career time a rb has, would you stay at a team not destined for anything this season, or a team at the current rate heading towards the playoffs?

I think Brady is extending his contract hence why Graps off, plus i would imagine he would want to be qb 1 somewhere instead of QB2 no matter if you did get another ring.

I agree, I can clearly see why he has moved on even if he might end up play slight second fiddle to blount, more confused by dolphins agreeing to let him go however Gase wasn't happy after thursdays game.

Garoppolo seems odd as he has been with the Pats for a while and you would have thought he is being groomed for the QB role after Tom retires. Perhaps they are looking at another QB from elsewhere?
This is a weird one. I thought Kirk cousins was destined to be paired back up with Kyle shanahan at the 49ers. Pats traded for a 2nd round pick , first round will be dominate do by RB's again so maybe belichick has spotted a QB he can mold.

Given all the UK games this year I think the Vikings / Browns game was probably the best of them tbh. For 3 quarters it went back & forth both ways without knowing exactly who might win. Very much enjoyed the BBC coverage and the banter with Nat, Mike, Osi & Jay once more.

I think I'm definitely going to look into getting a ticket for at least one of the games next year and experience it first hand tbh smile
It was brilliant, i was there cheering on the browns and it was a great game. didn't seem like a 33-16 game at all but usual browns fashion we couldn't get the win.

10000% recommend to go, the whole day/weekend was fantastic. the Americans who came over were brilliant, met some really good people and they provided an insight to taking a knee, what the us fans think of UK games etc. very interesting.

Went to NFL live on Saturday and that was good also.

nearly 75000 there at Twickenham and 400,000 watched on BBC !

From what I understand I think the Pats have been trying to get Garoppolo to sign a new deal for a while but couldn’t agree terms, so rather than loose him on a free at the end of the year they got a trade out of it.

Fair enough. In the two games he started I thought he looked good , it's got to be tough being 2nd und someone like Brady. I do hope jimmy does well.

Nat, Osi and J Bell’s two weekly shows on BBC are possibly the best sports highlight shows on UK tv right now. Good analysis but also funny and entertaining. I’m just a casual armchair NFL fan but their shows have been a must-watch for me in the last two years.

Edit - Just seen that Sky are doing a tribute to Kevin Cadle, their long time NFL co-host who died recently, before this weekends game.
I didn't know that, he was great. The NFL coverage just won't be the same for me, a bit like the darts when Sid Waddell died. The two of them definitely added a lot to their respective sports when watching them on TV.

RIP.
I didn't know that either, him, Nat Coombs and Mike Carlsson are the face of UK NFL coverage for me, many hours spent listening to them over the years.
RIP Kevin
The news was highlighted on the BBC show also. frown I went to Kevin Cadle’s basketball camp over 20 years ago. One memorable moment was Coach Cadle picked me out from the whole group of around 100 kids, to demonstrate defensive skills. I was a point guard then and modelled my defensive game on the GOAT Michael Jordan and the ‘Glove’ Gary Payton. Coach Cadle was impressed thus picking me for demonstration. Great memory. RIP.

I made exactly the same comment last series - by a country mile the best sports programme, bar none.

just why do BBC persist on making the shows later and later at night? Im sure it used to start at 1130 then it went to 12 then 1145 then 1230 or is it just due to it being a hit on iplayer that they just dont care?

Don't suppose it's anything to do with hitting a US audience too, perhaps?

For the Saturday show unfortunately it’s always after Match of the Day.

No bother to me as I always download both shows on iPlayer.

Always a highlight for me. Great insight, and you can tell they all get along really well on and off camera. Enjoy the way Osi always turns a piece of analysis into when he was the best player in the NFL laugh

Bucs season is going almost as bad , probably the most hyped up team pre season, QB injured , WR banned (only for a game), defense looks clueless , offensive coach and head coach look clueless. Cant wait for it to end !

Atlanta are looking shakey as well at the moment. Quite a few key Qb's are going down as well

The Giants went down the pan in week 5 when Beckham and Marshall got injured, although in reality it was already over being honest.

Quite a few teams have had huge injuries that have killed their season. With a big number being QB's.

Giants have the chance of a win this week though...

Shermans out now for the Seahawks and some more Qb's have fallen. Have all the seasons been this injury wrecked?

Also Elliots suspension has been upheld though i cant figure out why when the Police didnt prosecute and apparently the women has come out and said nothing happened as well.
