It's good to see that they dont bother pretending that the half time show is live anymore

Brilliant game, had a feeling the. Chiefs would come back in the final quarter. Got cheeky bet on at 7 to 2.

Half time show was great too, No messing about, full on in your face 100mph stuff.

Shakira has aged remarkably well too, she’s a proper fox!

Are you saying the whole show is pre-recorded? I can't find any reference to that on line, only that the backing music is pre-recorded.

Anyone who knows anything about producing a concert would know it's impossible to rig a sound system in a few minutes but it's feasible for the main singers to be live.

It definitely wasn't pre-recorded, I was watching the US TV coverage and after the half-time show, before the 3rd quarter started the commentary team were sat at a temporary studio booth pitch-side, I watched teams of people carrying the sections of the stage back off the grass.

Can't speak as to whether the vocals were pre-recorded as I used that time to go get food and drinks.

I think he meant that they weren't singing live into their microphones.

Kansas City is at a standstill today, schools and businesses are closed. The parade is running through the centre with the streets lined ten deep and the union station complex just a sea of red.

They laid on buses but a lot of the players have chosen to walk, driving the fans crazy.

Brilliant scenes.

Worth listening to the NFL Mic'd Up coverage of the last 6 minutes and afterwards. Gripping and a bit dusty-eye inducing smile

Anyone watch the XFL this weekend?

I thought it was a breath of fresh air into football, the rules changes seemed to work well. It was great being able to hear the conversation between the replay official and the ref, the 25 second play clock sped things up and we got to see proper kickoff returns!

The standard of play wasn't too far below NFL and the broadcast coverage was decent.

Crowds seemed OK, a lot of empty seats in Metlife as you'd expect but I think they announced the attendance as 17k there. Audi Field in DC looked to be close to its 21k capacity.

It'll be interesting to see how this league does, September - February is just too short a season!

Its worrying that they walk amongst us and can breed without license

Yep been watching it from Week 1. Working well so far. Not keen on player interviews on the field. Looks like this time it could be sustainable. Could do with expansion for more teams.

Brady leaving the Patriots. His statement doesn’t say that he is retiring.

Chargers look favourite.

As a Pats fan it's sad to see him go but it's time to move on. He was not his usual self last year and he's 43 so he's not likely to get better.

Probably the best backup QB the game has ever seen.

Brady was the Patriots' backup QB, and only got in the side when starting QB Drew Bledsoe was injured during their first championship-winning season. He turned out okay though.

Drafted in 199th place - I mean I knew he was low, but didn't know he was quite that low

I've been a Pats fan for 40 years, I know who Tom Brady is. Just every QB starts as a back up after they're drafted. He was never a back up in the sense of say a Brian Hoyer or a Curtis Painter, he was just a young QB learning.

Phillip Rivers to the Colts. My wife is a huge Colts fan and she hates Phillip Rivers. rofl
