I was gutted and tired after the MNF game.
Positives, but up 42 pts without OBJ and Hooper and with landry being doubled for most the game.
We really need to draft well next year in the secondary, we won't go anywhere without that.
We just couldn't stop LJ, even when he stood still there was just so much space for him to throw in and to run into.
Big game vs Giants this sunday, going to be another late one/early morning !
Win that and playoffs all but confirmed, if not squeeky bum time as i can see the Ravens winning out

Ravens are brilliant at snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. Look at last year, nailed on SB winners.
Hard to see past the Chiefs again. Mahomes is different gravy.
The Chiefs have too many weapons on offence at the moment, to see past them taking the AFC. When you look to the NFC i would say its between the Saints and Packers. I like the rams but I think they ultimately falter due to having Goff as QB. Hard to see past the Chiefs again. Mahomes is different gravy.

Hopefully Grant Delpit is fit for next season so that will be a bonus draftee.I wouldn't be too disappointed if OBJ was traded as we seem to cope without him fairly well.
Who knows OBJ could come back next year and could be great again, i hope that is the case as he is fantastic when on it.

I watched the MNF game from the 2nd Quarter onwards. I had done my usual trick of set my alarm for the approx start of the 4th quarter (a couple of hours after the kick off) but woke up early...
If you were writing a film script and had the quarterback go off, the replacement get injured and the original QB return from the dressing room to throw for a TD from the 4th down you'd have binned it as being too on the nose.
And I've just discovered that at exactly that point my crappy Humax recorder stopped recording so I missed the last 90 seconds or so of the game If you were writing a film script and had the quarterback go off, the replacement get injured and the original QB return from the dressing room to throw for a TD from the 4th down you'd have binned it as being too on the nose.
You can always rely on Osi for some good summing up.
A couple of weeks back we had the Steelers being similar to trying to find a pair of clean pants on a bedroom floor but picking up a pair of smelly ones instead. Tonight we had the suggestion that Jackson wasn't cramping during the MNF game and due to the awkward running technique was instead doing his best to hold everything in before heading to trap two in the locker room

Im not sure OBJ would be a benefit once he comes back? Baker seems to be able to share the load around the receivers and TE and no longer trying to force the ball to OBJ all the time. Looks a much more balanced attack at the moment.
Happy to see Mimai lock in a winning season which is way ahead of what I expected in the second season with Flores as coach. Good win against the Pats with our 3 main offensive weapons inactive, defence playing very well.
Think we will be 8th placed in AFC as I can't see us winning both our final games unfortunately.
Draft picks looking good for next year with the Texans having a mare this year!

The wheels seem to have come off the Steelers' season.
It might be possible (I need to check the permutations) that they don't even win the division, I had a wager on the finishing order of the AFC North being Ratbirds/Steelers/Browns/Bungles which I though was dead and buried after a couple of weeks of the season but now might yet pay out!

Well the only scenario where the Dolphins don't qualify happened so gutted the season is over. Would have taken that at the start of the season!
Got a concern about Tua though, seems to have regressed during the season, although the OC certainly seemed to prefer Fitzmagic so may be as a result of poor play calling.

At the moment, the full game (steelers vs browns) is available on YouTube
So just catching up on it, first touch down - must be the quickest touchdown ever (without googling it and ignoring a kickoff return).
Not sure why, but kinda routing for the Brown's to win, might be the under dog thing but can't see them getting past the Chiefs, but then I didnt think they'd beat the Steelers nor the game going past 40 points total
