Tough bd - fair play to him for guts, desire and will power.

Went out on his shield. Hopefully will call off some of the haters?

Personally I hope he retires now and does something else - he's earned some respect but doesn't need to keep taking so much st, he ought to think of his long term health now, he's just not defensive enough and who knows how and when it might catch up?

Good fight that! Reid surprised me, fair play to him for standing up and taking it to Watson. TNA Wrestling is on now, time for some real fighting wink

A fair few people eating their words tonight. Reid put up a hell of a fight, against a very good opponent.

He fought like a true fighter with spirit, determination and aggression.

My opinion of him changed yesterday.

Well done Alex I think you just showed the world you are a true fighter.

I have to say, before the fight i didnt think he was taking this seriously, and only doing it to get himself publicity that his wife hadnt provided, and was kinda hoping that tom watson would take his head off. Knew he was a genuine fighter, just didnt think he would last all five rounds, but fair play to him he made a decent effort and in no way disgraced himself. I have a new found respect for his abilities in the cage now

It was a very scrappy fight. Both gassed after 2nd round, and were swinging on instinct alone.

Reid did do well, however I still don't understand how he got a title shot after 6 losses

Whilst I agree he is a tough guy, I'd say his technical ability is low at best.

I didn't see any of all this training he did with various people, they both looked very one dimensional imo, I havent seen any of TKW fights so don't know whether he got dragged into the brawl and he is a bit more technical normally?

Anyway, it was quite an entertaining fight, in that they were both slugging it out, but in no way up there with most of the stuff I've seen on UFC etc.

Title?

An over-used word and concept in martial arts of all varieties.
