Really hope Higgins goes out.

No respect for him now.

Watching Dott vs. Trump and I really don't like Dott's attitude, he gets incredibly petulant when he's being badly beaten by someone, let's hope Judd wraps it up 13-2.

Trump plays at my local club. He's been on the brink for several years now and I'm sure I read somewhere that he hit his first century break at an earlier age than Ronnie O'Sullivan....

He also made his first 147 when he was 14... Scary really!

+1

I find it nauseating that the BBC amongst others still portray him as 'poor John who has been through a lot recently and has come back strong'. But very little mention of his corruption.

Anyway, Ronnie pulls two ahead smile

Judd's into the semis, he's playing amazingly well and held on despite a small comback from Dott last night.

They just mentioned on the BBC2 coverage that at time yesterday against Dott he was averaging 15 seconds between shots!

Well Ronnie threw that session away. Should have been going into the final session 10-6 or at the very least 9-7 up. But at 8-8 I think Higgins is now favourite.

edit - well Higgins beats Ronnie. Well deserved in the end.

Selby is out, had Ding on the ropes after winning 4 on the trot this evening then made some horrendous errors to let the Chinaman back into it.

So a semi final line up of:

Higgins-Williams and Trump-Ding.

Would like to see a Williams-Trump final but tbh it's very difficult to call either of these matches.

The kid has no fear, will take on any pot and usually tuck it away. Sort of like the lovechild of Alex Higgins and Ronnie O'Sullivan without the madness.

Also, he has the best name in British sport since Jenson Button.

How awesome was trump's long red along the cusion into bottom corner pocket? Hopefully he can become the next ronnie, but without the attitude?

Trump's had a bit of a dodgy session this morning, looks like the nerves are starting to get to him a bit.

Amazing how pressure can make these incredible players look ordinary sometimes. It's so weird when one moment they're putting away an impossible ball and then missing a simple ball with the very next shot

Yup poor session from Trump although hopefully that is his bad one out of the way. Still very much in this semi final.

Williams opening up a lead against Higgins here, 7-3 to the Welshman.

I like to see Ding winning it as Snooker needs a boost of funding from the far east.

No prizes for 147 anymore. They must be skint!
