Arrive early. We are there by 6.45 and have a coffee and in at 7. If wet get in the car parks early...........last year was a disaster for late arrivals a real mud fbath but a right giggle watching the ladies in high heels falling about all over the place (Hope Goodwood are better at sorting this year) I was sliding the van about at 6.45 a.m due to heavy rain Thursday. camp sites were ridiculous.
leave late...we leave about 7. long day but you can pack loads in. Still not managed the rally stage

My experience is on a Friday anyway. Go to the garages first, as most drivers/crews have not got crowd fatigue yet so are really chatty etc. I have met and chatted with some real heroes of mine over the years. Then just bimble about but keep your eyes open as drivers pop up in the most unexpected places.

Wear boots and pack a rain coat. Take drinks . Go say hallo to mad Mike Whiddtett the Red Bull drifter, the star of previous years and ONLY reason now I go back. Lovely chap and family.

Wasnt much they could do about it last year, there were storms and torrential rain on Weds and again on Thursday nights!
