Hi all have not been to FOS for 10yrs now, just made a last minute call and planning on going Thursday now as fingers crossed weather should be ok,

what is the best parking option for this day , was hoping to take the 997 if its dry. they don't do the performance car parking on Thursday..

is there a better carpark then another?

Cheers Andy

No problem! smile

Picked a good day to go, it's much quieter so you can get closer to everything.
There are supercars are going up the hill as of this year too smile

Thursday will be the new Friday 'enthusiasts day' soon enough!

That is true but you'll be lucky to get the choice.

The car park on the left as you come down from the racecourse heading towards the kennels is closed normally on the Thursday, I think that only opens up on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
I have been for the last 3x thursday events and it always close on the way past.

I now tend to go with friends on the Thursday which is a much quieter day (I'm heading down this evening) and then go back with my son and a couple of friends to sit and watch everything go up the hill on the Saturday.

Does anyone have a programme of events for Thursday?

Also does anyone know if Audi are doing the off-road driving through the woods because they have done for the last couple of years? I had a go at it last year and as long as you sign your name in early the wait wasn't too long, especially on Thursday.

I am hoping car Park M will be open as they have set up Thursdays for an increased attendance level with the supercars up the hill.

It's all here: https://www.goodwood.com/flagship-events/festival-...

Supercars, First Glance, Shootout Practice, Red Arrows, Rally Stage. Thursday really is the sensible day to go now if you want a relatively relaxed day.

They don't open car park S until later in the morning - possibly the same for car park M. I certainly wouldn't advise following the advice about driving against the queues, you're most likely to end up at a closed gate.
