This was one of my favorites, mainly because I've never seen it before. I remember the six wheeled Tyrell with four wheels at the front, but not this.



....and this was Bernie being driven up the hill by Lord March in an AC.

I think I know the one you mean. It's of Niki Lauda kneeling down in front of Bernie.

No it's not my shot, but one of the Bernie images on the bridge crossing the hill climb near the Porsche restaurant. It made me laugh every time I saw it crossing the bridge, so I took a photo.

I've wanted to go to the Festival of Speed since it started but I have never managed it until this year and I'm so glad I did. I had a brilliant day even though I think I only saw about a third of everything that was going on. I have registered for the early bird alerts for next year's tickets and am already planning in my head what kit to take with me.

Yeah, yeah, I'm sure you were aiming at Nico really I wish I'd had your vantage point two shots earlier though... most of the photos I got of his burnout had bloody great wooden posts and haybales in the way

It was a lovely thing

I took that pic on the Thursday, but didn't go in the supercar paddock when I was back on Sunday so dunno if it disappeared during the weekend. Might have had a prang?
