Anyone else got tickets yet? Only 314 days to go.

Yep, bought mine this morning online, worked really well and got the grandstand seats I like... Despite this year's rain I'm looking forward to it!

I.T worked really well :-) Got favourite grandstand tickets in Woodcote too.
As an aside do members have to request FoS Thursday tickets or are they just sent through?

Nothing is automatic. Hopefully you remembered your Revival paddock passes too?

You can order your FoS tickets online in the normal way, they'll appear as free when you checkout (that bit is automatic!)

I'm thinking about heading to the Revival for the 1st time next year, having never been to Goodwood before.

Obviously I'm not a member, would I be missing much if I only took the weekend admission ticket, is it still possible to see most of the action?

cheers

Hi Mark,

If you're going for all three days I would certainly get grandstand seats for one of the days, perhaps Sunday? There's lots to see, especially if it's your first time but the racing is excellent and a decent view from say, Woodcote is worthwhile.

Tickets bought. I'd say if your going for two days then Grandstand tickets are worthwhile for one of the days. Last two years I've been on the rainy days, but still had a great time, so decided on seats this year for a change
This year I went to the fashion show. Not very 'Pistoneady' I know. But my companion REALLY appreciated the sit down in the dry, and it really was quite good. And free. So, perhaps if your taking a non petrol head partner it's worth a thought.
As a new fellowship member, the sheer hassle free aspect of priority ordering was nice.
Pray for sun shine this time...

Another tip is the Farmer/Butcher/Chef package, which I did this year. Not cheap at £99 each, but we got breakfast, lunch, four trips in the vintage taxis (or the Audi 4x4s) to and from hotel to circuit. You park at the hotel, which was a big relief from parking (and losing) my Caterham in a large boggy field. And my companion appreciated access to proper loos for a spruce up.

When we saw the alternative food option at the circuit (£15 pizzas sitting on a damp straw bale) the price suddenly seemed reasonable. Food was excellent, and aiming for the hotel rather than circuit meant no real queues on the roads and a very relaxed start to our day.

Doesn't work for me. Is it supposed to discount the amount before you enter card details?

only works if you're a GRRC member
