Fellows don't have access to the forum as far as I know...
As a Fellow I find it very disappoinitning that I have to rely on this forum to hear from Alan or indeed anyone at the GRRC.I've just spent over 30 mins trying to find any official update - but have found nothing.
Nothing from the Goodwood news email either.
If Alan is reading this (or anyone can pass a message along to him) please could they let all the Fellow's know what's happening.
weather is not looking fantastic but check out some of the early arrivals...

BBC weather's all over the place; now showing snow on Saturday morning. I hope they're taking their usual pessimistic approach and it'll be nothing like as bad. From my experience of a freezing cold Brands Hatch event a few years ago: the cars will run in falling snow so long as it doesn't settle.
Mind you, I would want to be running one of the 2 stroke bikes in those conditions!

Sitting in The Great Hall waiting for the Founders Talk to start. Everything seems ready to go on-site. Had to unzip my jacket when walking around as it's about 11degC. at present. The last BBC forecast I looked at didn't mention snow on Sunday.
With the amount of work done and the level of temporary infrastructure there's absolutely no chance of it being abandoned and rescheduled. Am expecting to see racing (and demos) in the cold. There is also a huge bonfire which should help with keeping warm at some stage over the weekend.

Issue is weather is forecast to go downhill very quickly. Metcheck is saying:With the amount of work done and the level of temporary infrastructure there's absolutely no chance of it being abandoned and rescheduled. "During Sunday we expect more widespread snow showers to develop across parts of Southeast, Central and Southern England as well as parts of East Ireland. There remains a low/moderate risk of heavier snow developing for a time across parts of Southern England on Sunday morning with accumulations of 1-5cm, perhaps higher across parts of the North/South Downs and High Weald areas. "
Hopefully will all come to nother.... but I'll be annoyed if the event is 'run' but with most of the track action delayed then cancelled just so no refunds needed.
after todays warm temperatures, the track will not coll down enough for snow showers to settle, the cold spell is dropping in very quickly and only getting to just below zero... there is a lot of energy in the track surface at present...
having said that consistant heavy snow, not much you can do about that.. but thats not is being forecast..right now..

We’re nearly there chaps, let’s just cross our fingers and hope the area of snow just skirts the Chichester area.
How getting there from Sevenoaks will be is another matter.
In the meantime, crack open a cider, crank up the volume and take in the turbo whine of the 935! It’s show time! There’s going to be nine of these bad boys!
