Stunning photos - I assume you do this for a living. smile
I'm a wedding photographer smile

This is just a side hobby, this was my first event since the Festival of Speed last year (and before that the Festival of Speed the year before I think!) Everything here was shot from public positions.

I was only on site for 5 hours, had to get back and was paranoid about the snow. Missed the Group 5s (and everything else after 12:30!) Very frustrating as had paid £100 to rent a lens as I don't have any gear for motorsport, but made the most of my 5 hours!
I should have checked your profile first. smile

Lovely pics. I tend to leave my camera at home these days - so I always appreciate seeing great pics from those that don't do the same.

Do you do anything in particular to get that lighting effect?

I was lucky to be at the right place a the right time.

Here are some more pics from the weekend. Bloody cold. Glad to be back in sunny Athens.

May I have your permission to post IMG_8877 on a Morgan forum?

Can you be a little more specific?

There's a slight vignette applied which helps the front half stand out more. Do you mean that?

And on a personal note... anyone who remembers that old advert "How does the man who drives the snowplough get to work? He drives a VW Beetle", well I can assure anyone who cared that it's all true. Brilliant in the snow, brilliant in mud even deep enough to reach the valance. Considering we saw one of those stupid Audi 4x4 things getting towed out by a tractor as we pottered past, I think that's testament enough to a 46 year old bottom-of-the-range V-dub cool

Great pics Nick... I love how you've cropped some of them to get a more interesting shot. I will go through yours again later to try to learn how to be a better photographer! smile

Yes - it looks like a long exposure somehow. The lighting looks terrific.
