Good morning I thought. The bus worked well although I didn't get there very early and didn't leave very late either! First time the dog has been on a bus - she seemed impressed.

Given that the Breakfast Club meets are free I think it's a bit rich to knock it.

Well my son and I had a fantastic morning ,fab display of cars and bikes ,I seriously think people should appreciate these free events and stop being so negative.

My last visit was February and I thought that bikes go in the main gate and turn right and park on the left by the

"fake Tesco".

I don't visit that area much so honestly didn't know different.....confusedconfusedconfusedconfusedconfusedconfusedconfusedconfusedconfusedconfused

It’s absoloutley rammed now like FOS. We parked at the Hotel and took a 20 min walk. Track was barely half full I’ve seen it far busier. Looked dry enough for parking in the fields as well. I know it’s free but what was a wee meet for guys who like cars has become overwhelmed with people all looking to take pictures tutting if you amble into their careful camera phone shot. I’ve never seen so many people there.
Were you late? Track was full from the chicane to Madgewick and so was the paddock. Brilliant event.

I think by trying to circumvent the plan they had in place you made life more difficult for yourself.

By following the signs we were guided up the hill climb!!! What more could you want. When will you ever get to drive that, past the house, past the flint wall. It was worth going just to get to amble up that for a drivers view.

Straight on the bus, and to the circuit in 5 mins.

This. ^^^^^^

However, given the success of the bus system I wouldn't be at all surprised to see it retained at least for Supercar Sunday as this would be a very good way of limiting the numbers, which lets face it is the reason why everyone now has to apply for the free tickets in the first place.

As for the event itself I thought it was excellent as usual, loving some of the rare American stuff especially the green Roadrunner. Did anyone else spot the paint bubbles on the front wheel arch of the pale blue McLaren 675LT? Looked like a bad smart repair!

As a regular attendee, as far as I can remember it hasn't been a quiet affair for about 10 years. I find people are generally pretty good about photos etc. as well. Yesterday was pretty quiet compared to what normally happens at the Supercar days (I will be giving that one a miss this year).

A most enjoyable morning out in the sunshine, and a much needed non-trackday excuse to get the Exige Cup out. Loved the variety of cars the theme brought, though I was hoping to see a classic Dodge Charger (was there one?).

Did the chap in the current shape Mini Cooper S ever stop revving it in the paddock to get out to see the cars on show?! biggrin

Correct me if I'm wrong, for which I apologise, but I thought the Tesco building was removed 3 years ago. confused

I don't know when I'm next going down there as none of the themes suit my car this year but just need someone to clarify whether fake Tesco is there or not......smile

I could join in with the vloggers n excitable kids at Supercar breakfast.

Tesco did indeed stop using it for the Revival a few years ago, but the building is still there and is where the motorcycles park for the Breakfast Club. There were loads of them there yesterday.

Recently at the Revival, the building has housed a hairdressing salon, a tea room and a gallery to promote the V&A.; whilst for the MM it is the dressing room for the staff. But I think as long as the building remains it will always be the "Retro Tesco".

I was wondering how the bus service would perform, but it really did work out very well indeed. Short wait for out and return, with loads of capacity and a speedy transfer.
Still were able to see some excellent cars up by the racecourse, so just walking to the buses really had the children excited.
Felt like the whole event was stress free. Once down at the track, a great selection of cars, fantastic weather and all for no charge. We're really lucky to have this on the doorstep and a great drive over.

Really impressed with the whole event, and we've been going to breakfast club almost since it started, so have seen it grow into something pretty amazing.

Many thanks to the staff, drivers and people who took along some great cars.

If you head to the horse racing That’s the way into the car park. There’s a race about a week or 2 before FOS so you get to go under the start finish barriers for a more authentic experience.

I’d like to pass on my thanks to all concerned for a great event. I hadn’t pre-registered and had no knowledge of the bus arrangement, but as my wife is currently going through Chemo she is very short of strength and walking any distance at all can be a struggle. So I arrived at the main gate and asked if there was anywhere they could park us close to the action. No sooner said than done, and we were very swiftly guided to a spot just yards from the pit lane.

My sincere thanks for making what could have been hard work thoroughly enjoyable. smile

A thoroughly enjoyable morning - a couple of the relative positions of cars made me smile (and wonder whether it was done on purpose) like the alternative fuel pairing of a Tesla model S and the 1908 Stanley Steamer!
Here are a few pictures I took:
