Disabled access at Fos.

Wifey bought me Sunday Fos tickets as a Christmas present,unfortunately due to Motorcycle accident I will be attending in a wheelchair, I’ve phoned Goodwood and have got disabled Platform/viewing passes for the hill climb. Wifey wants to go to the Rally stage. From experience does anyone know if there is w/chair access or would she be better going off on her own. ? Thanks phil.

If in a wheelchair it’s going to be tough going anywhere that’s not the main site as it’s all grass and up hill.

However they are very good with disabled guests and they should golf buggy you about to some degree although not up to the top.

I could imagine if you can get to the top in a courtesy land rover or something, and if they hold motorised scooters to use at the top you can probably zip around on one of those and see quite a bit in the rally paddock / start of rally stage...

Looking at the FAQ it looks like it’s the normal shuttle to the top?

Thankyou for the advice/info. For some reason on the disability access page I scrolled down as far as the telephone number but no further. Obviously our day is not going to be what I had hoped for but I/ we are determined not to let my disability spoil it. I have a feeling my wife may have to Watch the rally stage alone.. Again from experience is it a good spectator experience ?

we were going to the rally stage a few years ago with a guy in a wheelchair.
he had been given a mobility scooter at the assistance area. without this he would never have made it.

The rally area is the best for a true petrol head. The bottom is just full of all the YouTube rubbish. You can get a tractor to the top but you will not get on it if you can not walk. See plenty of old timers going up on golf Buggys however so that might be an option. Just hope it is not raining!
