Ditto the Breakfast meets in the public car parks in terms of theft & minor vandalism but as expected never within the circuit. The Chichester area of the south is not as posh & crime free as one imagines.
That said above all else Goodwood has done a wonderful job with the Revival & if there was only one motoring meet worldwide I could attend before I die it would be a Revival. Murray Walker has expressed a similar sentiment, both publically & privately. I say this as one unapologetic for being critical of Goodwood.
The major st hole is Bognor, it’s only down the road, and it’s where a lot of the douche bags hail from.

Loved Goodwood & this was our 3rd time, we did all 3 days this year & still didn’t see everything. The racing was very good this year as well.
The car park is better than any car show I have ever been to!

18th year for me. I just do the one day now.
I must like it as I keep coming back.

I arrive early and leave late so traffic never an issue.

I ride my bike through there on the way to Brighton, I always speed up by a few MPH when I get there.

As it's a 3 day event and been this was it's twentieth year that's quite some achievement.

Doh! So it is, well done. Also means I've been to 20 events - not 19! biggrin

A few years ago I visited some of the Travellers Caravan sites near Goodwood. I was surprised how clean and tidy the caravans were. Not to my taste, but I was amazed by their hospitatility, once they trusted us. (It was a legal matter we were helping them with). Many could not read.
My view of ‘travellers’ was changed. I’m sure not all are good, as in general society. But I now have a respect for some of them. I wouldn’t tar them with the same brush.
